Finding a CVICU position
I know many people don't like it, but try Florida Hospital, they hire new grads into the CVICU.

Verge of nervous breakdown
I am not even a nurse yet, but after reading the comment I wanted to leave my 2 cents. Have you ever thought of School Nursing? You get holidays and summers off, it is MUCH slower than the hospital.

Medical Missions
I am not sure if you would also like to do medical mission trips that are religious, but here the only one that I actually know of. Plus they can help out with loan repayment, match 3% of 401K payments, and accept new grads. Adventist Mission Adventist Mission | Current Career Openings I hope that this helped. Good luck with your search. :) P.S. Once I become a nurse I want to go on career mission trips around the world with Adventist Mission.

Help!!!! Advice needed!!!
I am not from your immediate area, but I would say to just start with your RN. I would say do an ADN because it is cheaper then you can go to a 4-year program and get your BSN. You may not find the exact job you would like with an ADN, but you can always do online classes toward a BSN while working as an ADN. Plus ADN and BSN do not make that much of a difference in salary starting out. I hope this brought some insight. Good luck with everything.

Picking a path
I am not a nurse, I'm actually trying to get into nursing school. All of these answers are going to be very subjective, but I will give my opinion anyway. If I were you I would go to the other job and work there for a year or so. Getting experience in the NICU is something that is very hard to come by (or so what I've heard), so if the opportunity arrises, I would take it. I know the turn over rate is high at the other job, but experience is experience. Once you have that you can go to any other hospital that has a NICU. This all depends on the fact that you might HATE your bosses for a year. This is a hard decision. I wish you all the best of luck.

Best advice I ever got!!!
This is very good advice for anybody that is in school. A lot of people wait last minute and that is never a good idea.

FLASHCARDS...don't waste your paper!
An alternative to normal flashcards are websites like Quizlet that already have millions of flashcard sets from other people made and are ready to use. Plus that have an app, so as long as you have a tablet or phone, your good to go. Just some food for thought.
