I took NYCLEX today!!! I think I passed!!!!

Hi everyone!!! I took the nyclex today and only got 100 questions?? I think I passed! I feel like I did. Can anyone tell me what they think? I was hoping it would shut off at 75,but it didn't. The last 2 times I took the test I got 265. I guess I feel that I already passed cause I only got 100 questions..Can anyone give me any input?? Thanks

You had to have passed. I was finally meant to be... :nurse: I have had friends pass at 120, 160 and 180. Did you feel like your questions were harder than in previous attempts? Let me be the 1st to say congratulations, I look forward to you updating the website with you telling us you for sure passed. :balloons: Can you give me any input for Friday????? I am getting soo nervous... I feel like I am ready and I just want to get if over with....

The theory that I always hear is that you only remember the questions that you got wrong. :) Stop torturing yourself and take a bubble bath or go out and buy a quart of chocolate ice cream. There is nothing you can do unfortunatly but wait.. :uhoh3:

What did you get tested on? Did you get any of the new format?

No I did not get any of the new format..I only got multiple choice questions, and in fact my friend took it last week too and he only got multiple choice...

It looks like you have a good chance of passing if you have been answering 265 Q's before. I hope you did it. Congrats in advance. I am taking mine on the 29th. God helps us all.

I hope you passed...I would think so...

The thing to remember honestly is that it really has nothing to do with the number of questions you get...Roughly 10-15% of them do not count, they are pilot questions...If you get 75 questions then only 60 count toward your score, the rest are pilot questions the NCSBN are trying out...Logically, it would seem the fewer questions you answered the better your chances, but this is just not true...The number of questions you got has cannot predict how one did on the NCLEX-RN.....

Hi,

I took 75 questions and I didn't feel anything about passing the test at all.I think it 's true about people remember wrong questions.I remembered many question I did wrong and I think I failed the test for sure.It was my 1st time too .So I'm not serious about the result ,but I passed :)

Which state did you take the test with ?

Maybe you can get fast result like 2 or 3 days if you didn't take it with CA board:balloons:

First Of All Let Me Say Congrats And Wishing You The Best....don't Worry, I'm Sure You Did Well. I Will Be Taking Mine On May 22nd. A Few Of My Classmates Have Already Taken The Test And Passed, One Just Took It This Past Monday. They All Said It Made You Think But They All Passed So It Must Be O.k.

So, Keep Your Head Up And Think Positively, You Will Be Alright.
