i have done 2 review classes, and I have used all the nursing books like Kaplan's, Saunders,......I had a room all to myself approved and took it and still failed. My psychatrist says it is not anxiety related, because I wasn't having any anxiety symptoms toward the test. Makes me wonder....

I graduated from rn school 2 yrs ago, and have failed my boards 4 times. What I don't understand is how I am failing. I have done every book and review class there is and I was on the dean's list in college and Phi Thetta Kappa. I am going to take the lpn boards so I can get to work, but I am worried that I won't pass the lpn boards. Wouldn't u think someone with a rn degree and good grades would pass the lpn on their first time? I bought an lpn book and I have 3 chapters left.. Is the lpn exam as hard as the rn?..Any insight would be appreciated.

I have no energy anymore to do questions or study. I have been studying for 3 years! (counting nursing school). All the people I graduated with have passed and have a year of experience under their belt, and here I sit with 2 kids to support looking for a job at the local 'Walmart. This test has got me so down, and depressed. I mean how many more times am I supposed to take this before I give up anyway? It is crazy that I busted my butt thru nursing school to get a good job to support my kids and here I am. Last week I took my college diploma off the wall and I also took down my phi theta kappa membership award... And no I didn't have this attitude till this last time. I took this test the first time thinking I would pass, and even the second and third. I have had enough.

Yes I did all cds and tons of books and review questions......I took the online review course by nsbcn and the excel course .....I have used kaplan's and lippincotts, and saunders and mosbys and nursing made easy book......I think I have decided not to take it again.....

I contacted my instuctors the first time I failed and they all thought it was some kind of mistake. They didn't have much to say except take it again. All my instructors thought it was impossible that I failed.

I don't know where to begin or just to give up. I have failed the nclex again at my fourth try. I did so good in college, and I do not understand why I am failing. I have taken the excel course, and the ncsbn review course. I have also used Kaplan's, Mosby's, Lippincott's and Saunders. And I still have not passed!! I also graduated on the dean's list and did awesome in college...Does anyone have advice? I think I wasn't meant to be a nurse...........

Well honestly I wish I would of took them when I was in college. I have taken my boards 3 times and still have not passed, and I got a 4.0 every semester in college. If you happen to fail the boards, it will give you something to fall back on. I wish I had done it..........

I will say that no I did not know the cranial nerves, but i knew pretty much everything else. I only studied 2 to three hours a day cause I have 2 kids and can only get to study when they go to bed. I also did do the kaplan questions and would get like 60 to 70 right out of 100 everytime. Do you suggest that I get different books? Or what should I do next? I am not going to take this test a million times!!

i called and they said i failed. The last 2 times that I failed I got a letter with the number of questions I got and it said near the passing standard. I am so fustrated! This is torture! How much more can I do? I have used the Lippincotts, Kaplans, and I took the online nursing review course from the ncsbn, and I took the Nclex excel review offered from my college.

I just found out that for the third time I have failed the nclex. I am shivering right now and everyone I have tried to call isn't home. I am so mad. I thought I passed. I don't even know where to begin.....

I took the test yesterday...I only got 100 questions and then the computer shut off. Has any one failed with only 100 questions? I am so worried. I feel that I passed, and maybe I only feel that way cause I only got 100 questions..ButI walked out thinking I passed.......
