Hi, I sluted you for your effort .Your story is admired me.I took NCLEX with CA board for 1s time and lucky me.I passed .I 'm foriegner nurse ,no experience in the floor excepted out patient clinic and no experience in USA, so it is more difficult to learn and less understand about nursing in USA.I read KAPLAN, Lippin's cott and spring house .I was prepared for 2 months before I took the test.I spent almost 2 hours in the test room to answer only 75 questions.I just want to make sure I 'm not hurry and analyse those questions before I move to the next. If you have nursing procedure books.I think you should really focus on them.I got most of the questions about fracture and nursing intervention .The questions didn't really ask about diseases ,but nursing .I almost passed out because of I didn't see any questions semilar to the books I have read.You maybe need to focus on Surgical and Medical .Spend your time to read as much as possible and don't be rush. Taking NCLEX for 5 times I think you can predict what kind of questions you expect to see for next time. what a co-incident! .I 'm working at VA nursing home missouri too:) We are joining the same organization but different position.I have to wait for MO state board of nursing issue my temporary permit then I can statrt what should I do next. I think I have no problem about communication ,but writing .I'm so stressed .I got a clinical book and nursing procedure books .I hope they will prepare me for RN job. By the way, anybody know what is Medical telemetry RNs do ?

Hi, I took 75 questions and I didn't feel anything about passing the test at all.I think it 's true about people remember wrong questions.I remembered many question I did wrong and I think I failed the test for sure.It was my 1st time too .So I'm not serious about the result ,but I passed :) Which state did you take the test with ? Maybe you can get fast result like 2 or 3 days if you didn't take it with CA board:balloons:

I started to call everybody and I checked my name online service at http://www.rn.ca.gov everyday and my name didn't show at all. So I stop check it ,next thing I knew .They mailed me RN ID and engraved certificate. It was overwhelming and I still like I'm dreaming. :balloons:

I called MO board of RN.They have told me ,I don't have to take english or CGFNS because I already passed my NCLEX test with CA board .They have info on internet about endorsement license across the state .I 'm scheduled for CGFNS this July and I think I might make it this time.I'm working as CNA at MVC(Missouri Veteran Care ) It's belong to the goverment .I started this job about 2 weeks now.I think this Monday I will meet my DON and tell her about my situation.If she have position for me then I will ask her for shadowing job on my day off.I think this is big step for me .I never had any experience in United state before so I think I 'm going to be very stress. I already got job offer from Nursing home in Missouri ,but I 'd rather work at the hospital .:) I just need to refresh my knowledge ,and be more careful about my practice also. It will take another 2-3 weeks to get interim permit in MO and I will let you know how is go.

Hello I 'm so happy to scream of the top of my lung about I passed NCLEX test with CA board.It was my 1st time for NCLEX and I took only 75 questions how cool is that!I cried and shook very bad when I found my license on my mail and my engrave certificated from CA:) I'm transfering my license from CA to MO and expect job in a couple weeks from now on. Yes, I still waiting for CGFNS for the 3rd time.This time I'm more confidence about myself because I've been study for NCLEX test so hard and I'm familiar about CGFNS now so I can expect what kind of question they are going to ask me .I 'm married with Missourian so I'm still try to get RN license in Missouri . MO state didn't need Spoken English except I cross the state and work at Kansas.I 'm trying to get license for KC and MO too :chuckle Right now I have the plan to work in CA for a while so I can save some money for myself ,especailly I just got new car last Saturday :balloons: I called my friends and gve them info.about your website .Hope they will talk with you very soon:) thank U
