Hi, I sluted you for your effort .Your story is admired me.I took NCLEX with CA board for 1s time and lucky me.I passed .I 'm foriegner nurse ,no experience in the floor excepted out patient clinic and no experience in USA, so it is more difficult to learn and less understand about nursing in USA.I read KAPLAN, Lippin's cott and spring house .I was prepared for 2 months before I took the test.I spent almost 2 hours in the test room to answer only 75 questions.I just want to make sure I 'm not hurry and analyse those questions before I move to the next. If you have nursing procedure books.I think you should really focus on them.I got most of the questions about fracture and nursing intervention .The questions didn't really ask about diseases ,but nursing .I almost passed out because of I didn't see any questions semilar to the books I have read.You maybe need to focus on Surgical and Medical .Spend your time to read as much as possible and don't be rush. Taking NCLEX for 5 times I think you can predict what kind of questions you expect to see for next time. what a co-incident! .I 'm working at VA nursing home missouri too:) We are joining the same organization but different position.I have to wait for MO state board of nursing issue my temporary permit then I can statrt what should I do next. I think I have no problem about communication ,but writing .I'm so stressed .I got a clinical book and nursing procedure books .I hope they will prepare me for RN job. By the way, anybody know what is Medical telemetry RNs do ?

Hi, I took 75 questions and I didn't feel anything about passing the test at all.I think it 's true about people remember wrong questions.I remembered many question I did wrong and I think I failed the test for sure.It was my 1st time too .So I'm not serious about the result ,but I passed :) Which state did you take the test with ? Maybe you can get fast result like 2 or 3 days if you didn't take it with CA board:balloons:

I called MO board of RN.They have told me ,I don't have to take english or CGFNS because I already passed my NCLEX test with CA board .They have info on internet about endorsement license across the state .I 'm scheduled for CGFNS this July and I think I might make it this time.I'm working as CNA at MVC(Missouri Veteran Care ) It's belong to the goverment .I started this job about 2 weeks now.I think this Monday I will meet my DON and tell her about my situation.If she have position for me then I will ask her for shadowing job on my day off.I think this is big step for me .I never had any experience in United state before so I think I 'm going to be very stress. I already got job offer from Nursing home in Missouri ,but I 'd rather work at the hospital .:) I just need to refresh my knowledge ,and be more careful about my practice also. It will take another 2-3 weeks to get interim permit in MO and I will let you know how is go.

Yes, I still waiting for CGFNS for the 3rd time.This time I'm more confidence about myself because I've been study for NCLEX test so hard and I'm familiar about CGFNS now so I can expect what kind of question they are going to ask me .I 'm married with Missourian so I'm still try to get RN license in Missouri . MO state didn't need Spoken English except I cross the state and work at Kansas.I 'm trying to get license for KC and MO too :chuckle Right now I have the plan to work in CA for a while so I can save some money for myself ,especailly I just got new car last Saturday :balloons: I called my friends and gve them info.about your website .Hope they will talk with you very soon:) thank U

Hi, I took my test for RN last Tuesday .I took 75 questions and now I got the result.I think I didn't do it good but guess what !!! I passed Yeah!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go to CA .I cried like insane because I didn't expect anything from it .All I care is I need to try the test. My 1st time and I did it .This is the big step for me :rotfl:

I though you are one of my foreigner nurse friend :) :) I wish you best .Keep in touch and just like I told you .This is really fact " CA board is expected higher score than other states so If I were you I might considering to get RN license in other state eventhough I have tot ake over and over again:) Or you can get class which open by KAPLAN or PEARSON VEU (provider for nclex-RN) I don't know which one is better but I think maybe i will choose PEARSON because they are providing NCLEX Test so they might have more percentage to pass the test or maybe the question you have seen in the calss will be semilar to NCLEX RN

Hi, I 'm going to schedule NCLEX test late of this month and didn't expect to pass.I know CA board is expected higher score from applicant than other states.This is the truth because they wanted high quality of RN that reason why percentage passing rate is lower that other states . Keep trying .You will pass someday. I studied so hard before I found out about interim permit kind and after I applied for it .I study but only 1 or 2 hours a day .Now they told me They don't want interim permit who is foreigner and have no experience in USA. I don't care about passing the test or not right now /I just focus on going back home in Thailand mid of May :) and get a job as RN .Thsi is my advice can you get another application in other state ? Like FL or TX ? Maybe the the score will be lower than CA board ?And you get a job as RN too

I got a job offering me at LA area right now.I'm making decision .Should I take NCLEX right now and get over this problem or should I train in LA as Interim permittee.Philipine's office called me and they offer training in ICU.Medical , surgical and ER area.It's up to me about which area I prefer .I don't know what to do right now friend.I 'm so afraid to fail with this test but if I fail then I plan to go back to Thailand for a year and come back before my green card expire.IN LA, they will pay me only 15 dollars .That is my problem.I don't think I can afford to live over there . Suzanne ,I have passed TOEFL score and TWS I got level 4 .I really thank for your posting.That really made me realize about the truth! Please give me some advice should I train and get some experience then take the test ,or should I take test test and my problem will be solve .

HI, TB can be recurrented that why they have to take medication for 6 months or some cases up to 1 year and after that they need to be following for CXR . That what I remember from the book.

THEY DIDN'T MENTION ABOUT TSE . I TOLD HIM ABOUT I HAVE PASSED TOEFL TEST AND I'VE BEEN HERE FOR YEAR AND A HALF .IF THEY ASKED ME TO TAKE TSE I MIGHT CONSIDERING TO COMPLETE THAT TEST ,BUT MY INTERIM PERMIT IS LIMITED TIME FOR 6 MONTHS SO I WILL EXPLAIN TO THEM LATER IN CASE IF THEY NEED ME TO TAKE TSE.I WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT WHAT DO THEY SAY TO ME IN THE FUTURE . IN MY RESUME ,I HAVE REFERENCE FOR MY WORKING WITH NURSING TEAM AT NURSING IN USA FOR 7 MONTHS SO I THINK THEY MIGHT CONSIDER THAT POINT AND PLUS I HAVE AMERICAN'S FRIENDS WHO WERE MY CHARGED NURSE AND MY DON SO I HOPE NURSING RECRUITER WILL BE CONSIDERED ME .
