I went to Kaplan so I automatically had 3 months access to kaplan test prep website after graduation. I took all 932 practice questions they had available (20 at a time) over and over until I was consistently getting 85-95% on them. I watched all the videos they had that I had the time to watch. I didn't make it through all of them. I also used the green CD for practice questions that came with my Silvesti Elsevier book. I also bought some practice question cards from Barnes and Noble that had about 310 practice questions with answers and rationales on the back and I made lab value flash cards. I studied for a month. A week before the test I took 20 practice questions off the kaplan site, followed by 10 off the cd, followed by 10 on the cards and then went through my lab value flash cards and repeated over and over and over. In my opinion I over studied. I was ready for some seriously complicated questions and the ones I got were a lil more basic. So basic I blanked on a few because I was mentally prepared for so much harder. Good luck and happy studying! I'll update when I get my results!!

Well I FINALLY did it!! I took my NCLEX-PN on Friday. I'm in Cali so no fast results for me
This will be the longest 4 weeks of my life waiting for results. It was so much harder and easier than I expected it to be all at the same time. I felt like a got a bazillion SATA. At 1st I thought it wasn't that bad and then BOOM! One SATA after another after another. I got maybe 4 dosage calculations and tons of Pharm. I have no idea how I did. I kept waiting for questions that covered the same content that I studied but they just never came. I went to Kaplan so I used their test prep website.
I can't sleep. I keep thinking of questions that I got and then running to google to see if I got them right or not. I tried the PVT and got the good pop up so I'm hoping that old trick still works. I've been trolling this site since nursing school and you ladies have helped me more than you know :redbeathe Any words of encouragement or tips on surviving the waiting period would be awesome!!
