accidentally deleted this. basically cut off at 75, lots of SATA, meds, prioritizing. freaking out. think i failed. tried the pearson trick and it supposedly worked because i got the popup but im still worried! yikes.

Same story as you. Cut off at 75. Lots of select all that apply and arrange in right order. No med calculations or OB questions. Extremely scared. I know it's designed for people to miss 50% of the questions, but it's hard to be hopeful after that!

Just pray and wait for the results, If the trick worked for you then it might decrease some of your anxiety :) Good luck!

If it cut you off it generally means you selected enuff right answers to Pass,lol

What is the "pearson trick"?

pearson trick, although i wouldnt take it as very credible, is after you have taken the nclex, you attempt to reregister for a second nclex-rn exam. if it allows you to go to the payment page and input credit card information, supposedly you have failed. if after answering "yes, yes, no, and putting your school and when you received your degree, along with what board you are seeking licensure from, if pops up with a message saying "our records indicate that you have registered for an exam, and cannot register for another exam at this time. Contact your member boards for further assitance" or something to that tune, supposedly you have passed.

Search for the thread "PearsonVue trick" for more information on how many people have used it. I'm not counting on this working, but it does give me hope!

cool I'll have to remember that when I take mine. You mentioned NCLEX RN... I wonder if it only works on that exam or the LVN one too?

Oh my Lord i in the same boat! 75 question. 11 SATA.3 drag and drops and prioritization and infection control question. a bunch of meds. It was soooo hard. im just glad its over.

I passed!! My fingers are crossed for the rest of you but I felt like I had failed majorly so I'm sure you all did just fine! :) Thanks for the support!

Congrats!!

I took mine today, and my story sounds identical. Shut off at 75, lots of prioritization, infection control, SATA. YIKES!!!! I walked out with my stomach in knots!

I tested on June 2... when the computer shut off at 75 huge tears rolled down my face. I felt i had guessed so much. I had so many pharm and 16 yes 16 check all that apply! I have been in tears since I left the testing center. I already have a day job that I want to KEEP. If I fail I will not even be able to work as a GN. I tried the pearson trick and the box popped up and would not let me reg....... My fingers are crossed!!!!!!
