Finding CNE course for RN license renewal.

I need help to find a continuing education course online, which will be accepted by the TX nursing board to renew my RN license. It would be great to find online course which is inexpensive.

Please help me !

Medscape.com offers free CEUs. Wild Iris Medical Education offers online CEUs that are accepted by most state boards of nursing, but these courses are not free.

Remember that the Tx rules recently changed, so your CE needs to be focused on your practice area. If you're in MedSurg, pretty much anything is OK, but if you're in a specialty area, you may have to do some digging around to find something.

Another good source is CE Direct - you can register for an individual account. I think the cost is ~ $45 per year. Then you can take as many CE courses as you want. They have a ton of them in all different specialty areas. Here's the link Individual Education

Does bsn courses count towards cne credits? I read on the BON website that academic courses taken towards a degree in nursing will count but has it worked for anyone here? I just want to be sure.
