Figs or Jaanuu?

I'm looking to get a new pair of scrubs, and maybe a new pair of Brooks shoes before starting a new job as an LPN. What do you guys think are best?

I'm leaning towards Figs because of the fabric, I really like rayon fabric and Figs has more of that. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Never had any experience with Jaanuu, but have been a Figs buyer since it first came out. Just comparing what I see on the Jaanuu site, they look very similar to Figs and the pricing is about the same. I'd imagine you'd be fine going with either. But being a Figs owner, I definitely recommend Figs, especially if you can get some sort of discount. Stuffs expensive so I only buy if there's a sale LOL (nurses week just past too). Also depends on your overall build. These scrubs seem to lean more towards the slim-fit body types though.

I have a couple of both brands. Figs comes out of top for me. The fabric has a bit more stretch and the fit is perfect for me. The only disadvantage to Figs is the more limited style options.  I personally don't get a one pocket scrub top, what nurse doesn't keep his or her work stuff in their pockets? This need for pockets limits my Figs top choice to one or two options. The oversize style is REALLY oversize so I am glad I sized down when I wanted to order a limited edition color and that style was the only one left in the color I wanted. The classic 3 pocket scrub top style is more to my liking.

Jaanuu has more scrubs with fun or funky styles  plus the embroidered stethoscope on their scrubs is a cute touch. If you try them make sure to order scrubs from the same design line or at least double check the fabric used before you order or  you might accidentally end up with 2 different types of material.

I am kind of picky on finding that perfect combination of fit, form, function and style. Both these brands are better than anything else I've purchased in many years of nursing. They are fairly expensive but the quality is excellent.  Figs always offers a first time buyer discount so sign up for their mailing list before buying to get that code. Or you can just internet search for discount codes or use an app like Capital One shopping to get codes auto-applied.

I have found both brands have sales fairly rarely and when they have bigger sales the more common sizes are sold out quickly. Same with their clearance section, while the discounts can be great it's almost impossible to find a bottom/top set in the same color in sizes other than very small and very large.

Figs always look great but I wished they had more pockets. I prefer them and also Koi mens scrubs for their cut although old school style they’re still comfortable.

If you're looking for shoes, I'd recommend Altra over Brooks.

Altra has wide toe boxes and are zero-drop, so foot healthier. They allow your toes to truly splay and that is so incredibly important for effective posture, gait, and your feet overall. Since moving to Altra and other minimalist brands, my feet have changed for the better and I have better balance. I cannot image shoving my foot into another foot coffin like clogs or even Nike etc. You don't realize how much those shoes force your toes together until you've tried a brand that doesn't for a while!

As for the scrubs, I can't really weigh in. I've never tried Figs or Jaanuu. I've heard good things about figs but know nobody who wears Jaanuu. There are so many scrub brands I have a hard time justifying the price of Figs, but maybe one day I'll try them.

Honestly I was leaning towards Figs! Luckily I have a slit-fit body type as well. I'm only gonna start with one pair of scrubs, so price isn't a huge deal. ? Thank you!
