Kayzee...... I feel ya girlfriend. Having worked plenty of nights in years past, I know exactly how beat up you must feel. ((((((hugs)))))))) :kiss
Some get use to nights rather quickly because they are "nightowls" whether on or off the job. Some never get use to nights, but work that shift either out of necessity or out of convenience for their family's schedule. Some are so-so with that shift....they can take it or leave it....they can sleep anytime/anywhere.
You have to work the shift that best works with your own circadian rhythm. Maybe in time, you will "adjust".....maybe you won't. Give it 30 days.....if you don't start feeling very adaptable at that point....time to give it up, and go to another shift. I wish you well. :kiss :)

Been on nocs now for only 2 nights. 10 hour shifts and my body feels like ----. How long does it take to adjust to this shift? Feel very disoriented and kinda deprressed. Does this get better with time??? Am sleeping about 6 hours during day. Help, I need feedback, HOPE that it will get better.
