February 2015 Medical City Internships

Published

Hi all!

Well, it's that exciting time many of us have been waiting for. Medical City has posted its Feb 2015 internships and I heard from the recruiting office that they have over 100 applicants for the main hospital. I think the children's hospital has already begun interviewing but I don't know for sure. I applied for the critical care internship a week ago and haven't heard anything yet. If you're sitting with your fingers crossed feel free to comment below what you want and where you're at in the process and good luck to everyone!

HCA has a number of internships posted now so I've applied to those as well. I still haven't heard anything on my submission from a couple weeks ago. My application status changed from "Application Received" to "Completed" on Nov. 3rd (whatever that means). Waiting...

Has anyone heard anything?

I have an interview on Monday for Med City Dallas

What dept are you interviewing for? Good luck!

Exciting! For what dept? I know a couple people that got rejection emails yesterday but I have not gotten a phone call so I'm still waiting.

How wonderful! I've heard their pediatric internships are phenomenal :)

I am waiting on a critical care internship. Different department so that makes me feel better about not hearing from them yet.

Good luck today Nurse0707! :)

Tell us all about it when you get back!

Has anyone applied to Plano or has heard anything other then Medical City Dallas, like Denton, Plano, North Richland Hills, Ft Worth, etc ?

I applied to Plano, and nothing.

I'm only applying to Plano and Medical City. I haven't heard anything, but a friend of mine works in an ICU at Medical City and she mentioned that her manager is picking out who to interview this week so the recruiter should be making calls either the end of this week or next week.

When you guys apply to multiple applications do you use the same generic resume, etc ? Because I like to make my specific but I hate how you can add more than 5 documents... for their website
