Is it too early to start a thread like this? LOL
I'll be finishing up my pre-requisites this fall, and then applying in the spring for the Summer 2010 session. I still need to study for the NAT and actually take the exam and take a CPR course. I'm considering getting my CNA and trying to find work in healthcare to get my foot in the door.
I am so nervous about the whole process, nervous about whether I should try to work and go to school, and especially nervous if this is something I can handle. I am afraid of all the responsibility.
Anyone else planning for next Summer? What is your process looking like, what are your thoughts/feelings?
I have good news for you guys! New student orientation for summer term is March 31st! With that being said you guys should hear something by next week since there is so much to do before orientation! :)!!!
YEA!!! My stomach is anxious and I don't know if it is because of that or because Lost is on in less than 1/2 hour!

The uniforms are all white scrubs w/ blue stripes on the sleeve, we had to ordered them off of a website they have patch w/ FSCJ logo on it... We also had to ordered a blue polo w/ the school logo and nursing student on it, we have to wear tht with khakis... We wear polos and khakis during group presentations in class, one of our simulations test, during hospital orientation, community service and when we go to the hospital to pick up our patient charts the day before clinicals. We wear the all white uniform for one simulation test and everyday for clinicals! First term you go to clinicals once a week BUT it doesn't start until week 8! I am in first term and we have our first clinical day next week! Good luck everyone!! FYI nursing school is a lot of work but its not tht bad! I am currently sitting at a 4.0 gpa this semester! Another thing the grading scale ia different 93%- 100% is an A 86%-92% is a B 80%- 85% is a C anything less than 80% is a F!!!!!
