FCCJ Summer 2009, anyone?

I would prefer days, but I will take whatever they will give me, I'm just hoping for a seat......and you?

Although I got laid off today, I am hoping to get a day job.....so I will be taking the evening/weekend class. :)

Dianne...that's so funny. When I read your post that you would be the old lady, my first thought was..."I'm probably way older than she is." Then I read your second post! Gave me a good laugh.

Did anyone apply while still taking Micro? I called the lady and she said it owuld be okay...does anyone have any suggestions on this?

You can apply while taking Micro, but the deadline was Today for summer session ( college closed so it was friday)

Thanks...just always like to double check. I am applying for Fall 09 but figured I'd ask on here since it's a more active thread.

If don't get accepted for Fall (which I hope and pray I do) I will apply for Spring 09. Thanks! :)

Ok...we are officially waiting. February is going to be a long month. I think the cut off is going to be higher this time. I have 200.32.

O and I just wanted to add the cut off for Summer 08 was 187.76 and 239 people applied.

So when do classes for the summer start...May? Are they supposed to tell you guys by March? How many people do they normally accept per semester?

O I also meant to add. The date on the letter for Summer 08 was 2/20/08 (but I guess this can vary based on the number of applicants). My friend applied and did not get in so that's how I know. Also I'm not sure if there are any first timers that don't know this but when you check your mail you know if you got in or not. If you get a regular size envelope it's a no but if you get a large envelope it's a yes because it contains all of your information, medical forms and so on.

this is kinda exciting to know all this information. when i apply for fall 09 i will totally be looking for that big envelope if i see a small envelope i will start to cry! thanks for the info!

Classes start the first week in May. We started May 5 last year. They are calling up people about 2 weeks before classes started because other people had dropped, so they really can give you two weeks notice for you to get all the stuff done (but they prob. won't wait that long).
