Well, it's never too soon to start thinking about this. Anyone else thinking of applying for Summer 2009?
I have not taken it but make sure you register for the class thing on blackboard (it is free) or else you will fail the modules. lol Happened to my friend, just make sure you go over the examples they have online....
Also, I saw people turn in applications today...not too sure if they accepted them though. Hope it was not any of you!! =)
I recieved my AA last summer and applied to JU then...I got accepted to J.U nursing program fall 08 but I had to end up dropping my classes after registering and everything because I couldn't afford it...I thought i had it all planned out, They offered me an 8,000 scholarship and a few other grants but that wasn't enough...I did have a student loan from the government but I still needed to take out a private loan to cover the remainding cost...I found out last minute my loan got denied! JU IS SOO EXPENSIVE...tuition is 23,900 a year.. not including books and other things that you will need.
I did really well on my interview then and my GPA is 3.89 Chris had called me to tell me I got accepted. JU is a good school I wish you good luck...I hope you are able to pay for it when you get accepted...are u getting n-e scholarship/grants?? I would advise you to apply to as much scholarships as possible besides just the ones from the school. Your gonna need all the free money you can get or else you'll be drowning in debt after graduating .
In the meantime I got a job at the hospital working as an ACP to get more experience. I'm waiting to hear from fccj n unf...i also plan on applying to Lake City Community College and UF for the fall if I don't get in for the summer. One of my regrets is not applying to alot of programs after getting my AA thats why Im applying to soo many this time around!

Wow!! I am so sorry you had to drop out of the program at JU. That had to be a hard decision to make! I did get a grant and I was told if I wanted to I could defer till fall. If I defer till fall then I will get my husbands G.I. bill ( that should help) and take out fin. aid. I just had the interview on Wed. I felt like I did really good, so now that is another waiting game, but in the meantime I also applied to FCCJ because to be honest with you I am not to sure if I really want to spend that much for a BSN when I can go to FCCJ and transfer to UNF for 3 months afterwards and have a BSN. So I am not sure and at this point I would be happy to just be in a program!

hey everyone! i am applying for summer term day/weekdays with 219.4. i was just wondering if anyone has taken the ILAS test or knows anything about it. I just found out you have to take it before gradutation if you enrolled in fccj in 2004 or later, or if you have changed your major at all. Has anyone taken it yet??
