Well, it's never too soon to start thinking about this. Anyone else thinking of applying for Summer 2009?

I met a few folks! JaxChris and I are both in evening/weekends section 7. I certainly didn't want to go all the way to Baptist Nassau for clinicals! I was lucky to pull #2!

hey everyone!
im actually applying for the fall '09 class, but i had a question that i hope you might answer. when i picked up the nursing application, it shows 4 "terms" once you enter the nursing program. Does this mean 4 semesters, meaning two more years?
I just dont understand because this is supposed to be a two year DEGREE, meaning everything, including prereq's should be done in two years.... someone help me out!
Thanks!

I don't think it can be done in two years because the classes, once you are accepted take 1 year and 4 months (you go straight through, no semesters off) So, that leaves you with two semesters to get all your prereqs done... hope that helps

Misswhitney-
On the first test we have for Dosage Calc. and Medical Terminology were there a lot of word problems (like outlined in our text book) or just fill in the blank? If u can remember please let me know...
I remember given scenarios. Take your time! They will sometimes throw in numbers that do not mean anything to the problem. For Med. Term, it is multiple choice.

Hey everyone I'm not sure who is in the hybrid class for pharm and health assessment but those 2 courses just opened up on BlackBoard for me today. Just a heads up in case you didn't notice.

:yeah:Hi I know you ................. we is so, having fun now
Yes, I know you too! Did you ever get a successful bp reading today? I feel like an idiot that I can't even find the brachial artery. I have tried it on three people already today and I just don't get it.
Hey guys...I found that the cheap, reusable stethoscopes were the best way for me to learn how to find all the different arteries and get an accurate BP. It sounds weird, but I could not do it with my Littman for the longest time.
Yes summer, I got it, bring your stuff to the next class and you can try on me, bet you were just on a hard person.... we need to practice a bunch.... I need to take a '''' speed reading course"
