Well, it's never too soon to start thinking about this. Anyone else thinking of applying for Summer 2009?
Hello everyone! I am a first time user. I know I am not on the right post and am sure this question has been asked many times but here it goes does anyone know the price and length of fccj RN program. I am hoping to apply for the spring 2010 class. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
The nursing dept handed out an estimate based on 06 tuition ($66.40/cr) and then prices of uniforms and equipment.....at $7069 for pre-reqs, 4 semesters NS and other charges. Prices have gone up. Tuition is now $74.20. Skills kit is $85 not $72. If you use an average of 11% increase, you would have a total of $7846. The school's estimate did NOT include the charges for the FBI and background checks, physical, shots, titers, etc.
If you prepare for $9K, you should have more than enough, I would suspect.... Hope that helps. ![]()
Hey! Did anyone check their FCCJ email today? I got a notification that my instructor enrolled me on evolve. I was like....HUH? Sure enough, there is Pharmacology (Stacy Burns) and Exploring Medical Language (Emily Kuschnereit)! WOW! Guess they are on the ball after all!
Man! This is getting REAL! ![]()

Oh... and by the way... you don't HAVE to have the cardiology III stethoscope... I'm one of the few who got it and I almost wish I hadn't. It is VERY sensitive and you have to get use to using it... it is good, but I'm starting to learn that there are even a lot of doctors who don't use it... mainly cardiology docs/rns use it. Just don't get a bottom-line stethoscope... mid-range price will be fine. And be careful with your uniforms from Meridy's... they run BIG.
