FCCJ Summer 2009, anyone?

Well they sure are dragging their feet. I'm trying to make my plans based on getting word from them :scrying: So if what they're saying is true, we pretty much have April to get our affairs in order.

I think the nursing office probably tells people that just because they get tired of people calling to ask if the packages have gone out. LOL. It sure would be nice to know soon. I'm staying stress free about it because I have too many other stressful things going on in my life right now.

oOk so today when I was headed to work at 3, my mom came up to me and said that I have mail from FCCJ...when I looked at it it was a big white package and it was from N.campus nursing department. I automatically thought it was my acceptance letter so me and my mom started jumping up celebrating. I ripped the pakage open and the 1st word I saw was congratulations! I was freaking out screaming n we were jus celebrating.........THEN...I read further and it was for the LPN program!!....BUMMER!...I completely forgot that I applied to that too just for the heck of it. I was soo disappointed n extremely embaressed!!...thats what I get for not reading everything first!...Not that the LPN program is something bad but thats not what I wanna do...so someone who applied n didn't get into the lpn program will be glad cuz I prolly won't accept my seat.

Well if they're finished with the LPN apps maybe they're almost done with the RN apps. Lets hope for next week. Congrats on the LPN anyway :)

I opened up the mailbox and there is a letter from JU. unfortunately, it was from the financial aid office. Bummer! :banghead:

It's now been 6 weeks since the application were due. Does anyone remember what the 'official' timeframe was? Is it 6 - 8 weeks? 8 - 10 weeks? Maybe if I start focusing on the longer end of the scale, I'll get a nice surprise!

Oh...the heck with that! Anyone who checks their mail early, post on here!!! I have to go to work and won't be able to check it till late.

When I submitted my app, they said up to 8 weeks.

Since I am unemployed, I will fill everyone in as soon as I check my mail.....it usually gets here roughly noon.

Keeping fingers crossed! LOL

I think they are probably gonna send them out today. Just a hunch, but we are under the impression that you guys have Orientation the first week in April and you have to get all of the paperwork done about a week before then. I have a coupon for Meridy's (it is where you have to get your uniform from) so if anyone wants the code, just PM me. We have a uniform drive in which people donate uniforms and you can just take them (but I know FNSA would like a few dollars for each article you take). Good luck guys!! I hope you find out by Wednesday!
