I received an email acceptance and also a packet in the mail! Its the exact same thing and they sent them through the school's email address! :)

Whos your Dr. at NS?? I went there on Monday to get mine drawn and when i went back on wednesday to get my PPD read 2/5 were already done! theyre pretty quick.

But I was told by CP that all you need is something showing that you got them drawn and they are pending. I had my Dr print out the lab report.

CONGRATS on your daughter... is she your first?

I'm sure I can go next week and pick up the lab reports and just submit them into my file then. I'll turn in my pending paperwork Monday when Oma can babysit for me. Shaia's daddy has to work.

Yes, she's our first, very exciting. She's doing very well and adjusting nicely at home. Thanks for asking! :loveya:

Oh one more thing guys...

Might be a stupid question but...Where did you turn in the folders? Did you just turn it into the Nursing program front desk?

Turn the folder to the receptionist and she will disperse the papers to the right person :)

CONGRATS on your baby girl! I love my daughter she's my mini me! Good luck with the breastfeeding I breastfed for 15 months! For the titers as long as you got something that says you had them drawn you are all right! Once again congrats!

Wow!! 15 months! I'm pumping more than actually breastfeeding but as long as she's getting the milk, thats good enough for me. She was in the NICU for 7 days after she was born due to an infection. She had to go through 7 days of anitbiotics and b/c of the UV line, I couldn't even hold her for the 1st 6 days of her life. However, since she's used to the bottle, her daddy can feed her in the middle of the night as well. She nonly latches on for about 1 minute then starts screaming b/c it's coming out fast enough like with the bottle.

Anyway, see you guys on the 14th and thank God for this website!!! Support like no other:yeah:

Wow I am so sorry she had to be in the NICU but thank God she's all right now! I also pumped too because at the time I was fulltime worker in the corporate world lol so my mom kept her during the day and I pumped gallons of milk a day lol. I would nurse her at night though, speaking of milk my daughter will be 3 in Feb and I STILL HAVE BREAST MILK in my breast!!! Wowzers! Anyways can't wait to see everyone on the 14th! I have officially started counting down the days! 10 more days!!!!!!

P.S. Shaia is a beautiful name!

Just contacted Stat-Lines about the skills kit, the lady inform me that they don't have any in stock but they will be receiving a shipment next week with all of the items in them! :)

I don't think I ever received an email version, it wasn't in my school email. Thank you for letting me know. :)

Orientation is next week!!!!! I am sooooooo excited!!! :) I will be the first one there lol!

First off, CONGRATULATIONS to all those who will start nursing school soon! I wish you the best of luck! :yeah:

Second, I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light for me. I'll be applying for Summer 2010 session with 223 points. However, I'll be moving from Duval to St. John's county right before the application deadline, and I have to have nights/weekends since I will be working full time during the day in my current position. My question is will it even be possible to get into night/weekends if I'm considered "out-of-county"? Any insight would be much appreciated.
