  1. Also, Section 4 students... my schedule on Tuesdays shows that we are at in class for Nursing Techniques at 7am-1:30pm. The sheet they gave us says class will be from 8:30-1:30pm and when we start clinicals, it will be 7am-1:30pm. Anyone have any insight to this descrepancy? ANd yes, the practice sheet in Nursing Tutor on BB have some incorrect answers in it. It was starting to freak me out until I had my math genius brother look at them and he said they were wrong...Nice
  2. I am and we DO have a crazy freakin day!! Let me make sure of this, our schedule is... 8:30am Meet in C-212 for Degree Audit 9:00-11:15am Test 1 on Dosage Calc and Med Term 1-5pm Orientation at Baptist Beaches Do you know if we just go to the front desk when we get to Baptist Beaches and say I'm here for orientation?
  3. Yes, yes I am. I was just wondering if I needed to bring anything other than myself IN dress code
  4. I am starting the RN program January 11th and was wondering what happens at the Baptist Hospital Orientation before clinicals. Thanks!
  5. Look at my posts at the top of this page...I listed the ISBN
  6. Sweet! Thanks for the info. I went and got my polos and skills kit today. Now all I have left is the Box'O'Books
  7. Hey did you guys know there's a 3rd edition for the dosage calc book? AND on the piece of paper we got with all the ISBN's to our books has the RNotes ISBN listed for itself and the Dosage Calc book?!? I found the Dosage Calc Pickar 2nd Edition "FYI ISBN: 9781418015633 " but I wonder if the 3rd edition would be better. IDK just a thought.
  8. Did you recieve it by mail, connections, at the bookstore? Where? This is the first time I'll be using financial aid and don't know how to get/use the vouchers. That would be awesome if I could get a voucher for the skills kit! I have plenty of fin aid left over after tuition and fees are deducted but it looks like connections is down right now as far as fin aid is concerned and I can't check it. I'll check again tomorrow and next week but I need to go to the campus bookstore and get my books ASAP. I was waiting on Xmas money to get the rest of what Fin Aid won't pay for. ANy help you guys have would be great. All I have left to get are books, polo's and skills kit. Can I just go to Florida Specialty? I saw on an earlier post they don't take credit cards...still true? I guess I could just call though.
  9. Wow!! 15 months! I'm pumping more than actually breastfeeding but as long as she's getting the milk, thats good enough for me. She was in the NICU for 7 days after she was born due to an infection. She had to go through 7 days of anitbiotics and b/c of the UV line, I couldn't even hold her for the 1st 6 days of her life. However, since she's used to the bottle, her daddy can feed her in the middle of the night as well. She nonly latches on for about 1 minute then starts screaming b/c it's coming out fast enough like with the bottle. Anyway, see you guys on the 14th and thank God for this website!!! Support like no other:yeah:
  10. Oh one more thing guys... Might be a stupid question but...Where did you turn in the folders? Did you just turn it into the Nursing program front desk?
  11. I'm sure I can go next week and pick up the lab reports and just submit them into my file then. I'll turn in my pending paperwork Monday when Oma can babysit for me. Shaia's daddy has to work. Yes, she's our first, very exciting. She's doing very well and adjusting nicely at home. Thanks for asking! :loveya:
  12. Thank you guys very much for the congratulations! She's awesome :) And also for the info, that's what I figured but just wanted some extra insight. Also, the receptionist at Stat-Line Industries said Wednesday that the missing piece to the skills kit should be in by today. I guess everyone can try to call again today.
  13. I gave birth to my daughter 11/24/09, last freaking week and had to get all my stuff done this week. I've got my uniforms and supplies already. I went to NS Medical Clinic yesterday and had my titers drawn and physical done but was unable to get my immunizations due to the fact that I'm nursing. They told me that as long as I got a note from my OB stating that I cannot had the Tdap or PPD due to nursing an infant but will get them before March 1st I'm ok. With all that being said, I have a question hopefully you guys can help me with... Can I turn in my paperwork stating my titers were taken and are pending? Or do I have to have my lab reports stating I'm positive for them by Monday? The paper in our packet states that, "You must complete all required immunizations or furnish proof of positive titers on or before March 1, 2010 in order to begin your clinical component of the Term 1 courses." Considering this statement, I think just the titers pending paperwork would be ok but would like some insight.
  14. I think we ran into each other today at the UPS Store. Nice to see ya on here as well :)
