I know it is a little early, but anyone plan on applying for FCCJ's spring 2010 program?? If I can get my Nat points up and if I do well in Micro this summer , I will be ready to apply!!!:yeah:Finally!!
This is a little off topic, but I was hoping someone could answer a question for me.... I'm a transfer student and for my English and math classes I don't have a grade - rather, I have a "P" because I have AP credit for those classes. Does anyone know what that's worth points wise?
I had 6 CLEP credits for English. I asked what they would be calculated as and was told a "C"! (Geez!!!):angryfire
I was advised to take ENC1101. I did and thought it was a great waste of time and money, but I did get in to NS! It paid off in the end.
193.52?!?!!? WOWZER!! I wish jkvanso and mydream77 the best of luck to you guys next semester! In the meantime I have to wait to receive a disposition from Onslow County, NC a place I never ever lived and that I was never convicted of a crime! Its crazy because on the background check it says the charges were dismissed I was under the age of 18 but I still have to verify that with a disposition?!?! I Fedex the request hopefully I get my disposition by Saturday!
I have points above the cutoff (Duval) and still have not received anything??? Geez! I hope they didn't lose my application! Does anyone else have above the cutoff (in Duval) and still not received anything??? Please let me know!!! I guess I'll be calling them tomorrow!
If they send them out on Tues depending on what side of town you are on you may not receive it to tomorrow if you don't receive anything by tomorrow then that's when you should call!

FutureRNMom, You are right...Guess I'm just anxious! It just makes me nervous when so many have already received their's. And, I know there is so much to get done once we receive them...Thanks! I'll give it one more day!.. :)
1wayst,
I see in a couple of your posts you stated that you and your high-point friend have a "duval address".
I am not certain of your situation, but when I applied for Summer09, the NS began investigations into the validity of the address used for establishing Duval residency. Could it be that you don't live in Duval and they figured that out?
Dunno.....just thinking.....
Did anyone get the "tentative schedule" email? I was wondering if we have to print it out and bring it to the orientation or if we just have to read it?
In my email I was told to make sure I read it before orientation! It didn't say anything about printing it out although there is a section we have to sign so it can put in our files.
How do we receive our results from the background check.....email or regular mail? The school sent out an email saying if you receive a 'positive background check' you would need to complete something else before orientation. 'Positive' sounds like it would be a good thing so I am confused.
