  1. I haven't received anything either & it is beyond frustrating!!! No phone calls from the messages I have left either!!! I personally took my application to the nursing dept to make sure everything was in order so I don't have a clue as to what is going in?!?!?
  2. I still haven't received an acceptance or denial. Not sure at this point if I should call or wait until next week. A bit frustrating!!!
  3. Well, I still have not received an acceptance or denial letter. I applied with 197.8 points but I live in Baker County. Ho hum guess I'll see if I get anything tomorrow...
  4. About 4 years ago, I worked with a husband & wife who both declined their seats. They had also applied to UNF's fast track program & decided to go there instead.
  5. Dang I can't check my snail mail until this afternoon, but I haven't gotten an email so I wonder if that means I didn't get in...hmmm. I applied with 197.8, but live in Baker County which isn't priority.
  6. I was wanting to know if you felt that it was beneficial in assisting your patients during labor. Guess I should have been more clear, but I suppose it can also help in the hiring process. Thanks again for your input :)
  7. Thanks for all the info HeartsOpenWide! Do you feel that your Doula training has been beneficial?
  8. I live near Jacksonville, FL and I know that St. Vincent's & Baptist used to hire nursing students that had finished their first semester to work without their CNA certification.
  9. I'm a CNA and used to work on a Med/Surg unit that also had postpartum overflow. There was a tech that did the hearing screenings. Not sure what her pay was. I'd assume that it was what the other techs made.
  10. I was just checking out their site the other day. I believe it was like $410 a credit hour. Steep, but if you have your AA already, you get your BSN in the same time that other programs get their AS in Nursing.
