Ok sir, I'm just a 19 year old punk nursing student and I don't know much...but I do know that some hopitals, or any place of employment do offer educational loan repayment programs if you work for them. So what this might mean is that you find one of these programs if available in your area, take school out on studen loan, and work for said job to pay back education....sorry it's all I got.

Sophomore in BSN program, and I am 19, if I get out on time I will be 22 with my RN-BSN.

I am a Sophomore in my BSN program, have not even started nursing school yet....., but if I "GOD WILLING", get into and out of nursing school, I hope to attempt at going to CRNA school, or NP school. Maybe even doing PA might be an option. I am a super newb at nursing, just got CNA, but I don't think looking that far into the future is a bad thing. I am sure I will narrow my choices once I decide which setting is best for me (ie. Hospital, Clinic, Surgical). The only thing I am for sure on is that LTC is not for me. I just got my CNA and am going to search franticlly for anything else for a CNA to do. I love helping people, despite their age or needs, but Geriatrics wears on me personally in a way I could not have anticipated. Anywho. Peace, ALL

I just got certified a week ago, but I am on my second year of my BSN, will ride on the CNA till I graduate with RN. Hope to one day do graduate work, maybe CRNA, NP...whatever floats my boat.

Hi all I am a college sophomore and I have finished up my freshman year of my BSN degree. I recently got my CNA training and License through a local LTC. The work is my first step into nursing and has been a good experience so far. I was wondering if anyone had worked at a CNA while going to school to get their BSN? How hard was it? Did you find a good setting to work in to balance school and work? Just a few questions from the new guy. Peace.
