Where do you like to go in Ohio?

Any recommendations for fun places?

Has anyone been to Put-in-Bay by Lake Erie?

Marie;)

Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. If you like to ride and not wait in lines. They used to be SeaWorld Have a good killerwhale show and Bengal Tigers.

they are not six flags anymore, it is once again Geagua Lake and Sea World. Very good recommendation though! No long lines plus it has a lot of coasters!!!! :)

Just when I finally get used to calling it 6 flags...

Polaris is the best place to shop...it is usually cheaper than Easton

The Chateau in strongsville is a great place to go tobagganing...they have ice shoots :)

Was just there last week. It was cold, snowy, windy, but cattle in pastures, some work going on fences, and the craft barn and old home were open. I like to visit there. They are planning several special events, starting before Easter. Hope you see it.

Clifton Mills in the winter. It is absolutely beautiful and very festive. The owners of the mill put lights every where and have shows and animation. There is even a little restauraunt/general store.

Hi All!

I love hearing from other Buckeyes!!! I have a quick question before I tell you about my favorite places!!

Does it make anyone else mad that OHio gets such a bad rep? I feel like im constantly defending our state! My best friend in college was from NY and the generalzations and sterotypes that they had of ppl from ohio were truly disturbing!

Anyway, as a person who lived in columbus for the past five years (OSU grad june 2004)!

Easton rocks!! they just finished it too! so there are tons more stores and whatnot! Polaris is a fun mall too but pretty generic. Oh and if you go at the right time you can catch the Gallery HOp, all the little stores and galleries on high street stay open late and tons of people walk around and they have beer and w hatnot so its kind of like a cute little street fair!

In Cincinnati (where I grew up and where I currently reside) Go to Mt. Adams and have lunch or go to a bar, its amazing!! its built on top of this gigantic hill and the view is amazing, so are the houses, its definetly worth seeing.

Anything on the river is fun and all the parks here are amazing!! Also in NKY which is like 2 seconds from Cincy, just catch a bridge! NKY has Newport on the Levy, the Aquarium there very impressive as well as the theatre and all the shops! THere are also quite a few fun bars and restaurants!

Ive only been to cleveland once or twice but I have been to the flats which are really cool!

Old mans cave, Hocking HIlls are beautiful!

anyone from cincy private message me! Always looking for new friends in the area!

What a nice thread! I am moving to Ohio (Columbus) from NYC next month and after reading this thread I am even more excited!

It is not actually in Ohio, but just over the bridge from Cincinnati is the NewPort Aquarium. It is awesome! There is also a boardwalk with a mall, and the levee. Always some sort of activity going on. And the aquarium is fantastic!
