I've been having to hold my side while reading the "weirdest name you've heard a patient name her baby" thread.

It got me to thinking that I know lots of interesting dr and nurse names in my area.

We have the surgeon Dr. Butcher

OB/GYN Dr Box

Derm Dr Rash

and my favorite

Urologist Dr. Littlejohn

I used to work at a hospital where they were constantly paging Dr. Shullruff - a surgeon - but the operator sounded like she was saying "showoff" each time. I used to laugh to myself and picture the other surgeons complaining about him tying sutures behind his back because he's such a showoff. "Man, i hate operating with him cause he's such a , well, you know - tying the sutures one handed and behind his back!"
