I've been having to hold my side while reading the "weirdest name you've heard a patient name her baby" thread.

It got me to thinking that I know lots of interesting dr and nurse names in my area.

We have the surgeon Dr. Butcher

OB/GYN Dr Box

Derm Dr Rash

and my favorite

Urologist Dr. Littlejohn

The peds hospital where I work has a bear as it's logo, named Dr. Bear. We also have a real doctor here whose last name happens to be Bear. How ironic.

There is a Dr. here in Brisbane with the surname "Dearth". Going to see Dr. Dearth its pretty easy to miss seeing that little r.
