FAU FNP 2019

So I do not think there has been a forum made yet for the FAU FNP program starting in August 2019. Other programs starting then welcome as well. The applications are officially open so I was hoping for some discourse on the application/interviews/etc.

I'm still in the middle of my application. Anyone having "fun" with nursingcas and started as well?

Thank you!! so my cumulative was a 3.7 but my nursing gpa is a 3.5 if i did it right.

I didnt see a "nursing gpa" but i averaged my junior and senior year gpas which is where all my nursing coursework was.

I cant imagine a 3.2 is too low for those asking, thats still an A's and B's gpa. Below a 3.0 is where i would start worrying but even then, a good GRE score can bring you right back into good chances.

Waiting for our acceptance/denied email is killing me. Still about a month away ahhhhhhhh

I do not have mine until March 22. So nervous that I am going to just freeze up when they ask me questions.

Hi all, good luck to those interviewing! Did anyone apply to the AGNP concentration? I haven’t heard anything and I’m concerned b/c NursingCAS didn’t finish my transcript entry until after the 2/15 deadline. I emailed admissions, but no response, yet. I’m sure they’re swamped with requests...

my transcript was not verified until february 26, i thought i had missed the deadline. As long as you send the application before february 15 you are fine. I have an interview next week.

Hi! Yes the same thing happened to me. To make it worse, on the 21st they actually sent my application back to me because they said there was a problem with the verification. I received an email on the 27th with info for the interview. When I had called a week before the deadline to let them know that I didn’t think everything was going to be verified in time they told me that I will have a few weeks after the deadline for everything to get verified. Hang in there! It doesn’t hurt to call! I did a few times lol

I didn't get verified until the 11th...still haven't heard a thing!!!!!!...I mean hope has almost made a full exit stage left...interviews have rolled out ...the furthest out for interviews I have heard is the 22nd....that's 2 weeks out idk really

I would call and see if they are finished sending out invites for interviews.

I called 6 days ago...they said they still have a few more for the Boca and Davie Campus...he was trying to not get my hopes up ...

Interview went great today ! They have a set of questions they ask everyone it seems. Example: Why fau? Why fnp ? Why you over other canidates ? All questions that I was prepared to answer. The two individuals who interviewed me were nice which made me very comfortable. Lasted less than 10 minutes.

My interview was at the Boca Campus.
