I called 6 days ago...they said they still have a few more for the Boca and Davie Campus...he was trying to not get my hopes up ...

I didn't get verified until the 11th...still haven't heard a thing!!!!!!...I mean hope has almost made a full exit stage left...interviews have rolled out ...the furthest out for interviews I have heard is the 22nd....that's 2 weeks out idk really

I know it's competitive but was 3.2 too low?

I fear I won't get an invite.......

By the time the progran were to start I will be a RN for 4 years with experience on a Cardiac Step down, Level 4 NICU and currently Labor & Delivery. Nursing GPA 3.2.

O ok....makes sense....just read a couple threads from last year and they said their statuses changed. That's why I asked.

It seems like the interviews for the Boca Campus are not rolling out as yet...idk why...hopefully soon. I mean I would love to have peace of mind to know wether or not I was being offered an invite so as to open up some options. Did those who received invites status change on the FAU app portal? Mine still sats "Referred to department".

Is that for the HBOI campus?

I guess I am not alone with all the nerves....Am I the only one checking the status and/or email 10 million times a day! Like they really know how to create suspense. I went through and read last year's posts and it seems like we won't be hearing much until this coming week into the first week of March. I was driving on the turnpike today and passed by the exit for the Boca Campus and I swear my heart skipped a beat. It's all I can think about! Once again GOOD LUCK! to everyone........and the WAIT continues

9 Spots for the DNP at the Boca Campus. They have to fill those before doing the MSN programs.

No email here.....Called again today. They said that they are nowhere done sorting/selecting applications for interviews. He basically said the process (selection and interviews) could take 3-4 weeks. He said they had like 9 spots open for the DNP program at Boca so they were trying to fill those first. Interviews were to start in March with a couple on the 28th of February. So fingers crossed!

Hey.....I also applied but for the Boca Campus. I called last week and spoke with Matt Peterson. He is the coordinator for the Master's programs with the School of Nursing. Side note he did mention he was "new"...as in this will his first go around with the selection and/or admissions process with FAU. Fast forward....I asked him to give me an idea of the timeline we would be working with. He said that they are currently sorting applications. Deciding who's application moves on to the admissions committee who has the final say as to who gets an interview or not. He said that notice of an interview will come via email. That will be held at the main campus in Boca Raton. From there withstanding that you do well on the interview you will get another email granting admission. Of course that will be conditional on a Level 2 Background check. He said Interviews should be conducted by the end of February 2019 completely. So you could potentially know if you are granted an interview within the next week or so. And from there admission by middle of March. Side Bar..... I am sooooooooo nervous. I really want to get into this program. It is #1 in Florida... #23 Nationally Ranked. The wait is KILLING MEEEEEEEEEE ???????????? I HOPE WE GET IN!! If anyone else has update PLEASE post!
