FAU FNP 2019

So I do not think there has been a forum made yet for the FAU FNP program starting in August 2019. Other programs starting then welcome as well. The applications are officially open so I was hoping for some discourse on the application/interviews/etc.

I'm still in the middle of my application. Anyone having "fun" with nursingcas and started as well?

My interview was at the Boca Campus.

I was there today I interviewed with two nice ladies but I was so nervous. I hesitated on the second question, I told them I was a little nervous, they told me to relax. I don't really feel good but I answered all of the questions they asked me. At the end one of the ladies told me "you did really good" but I just don't feel like I did. I am usually pretty good with interviews but today I was sick and didn't feel like myself. what time was your interview? I am waiting anxiously :(

I did my interview today I don't feel like I did well because I was so nervous and it shows. But at the end of the interviewer told me that I did well. I don't believe her even though I think I nailed some of the questions but some others I did not feel that good about them. But they were easy and simple questions its just that my nerve was getting the best of me.

My interview was at 1:20pm. But I went in earlier than that. Im sure you did fine especially since they said you did well.

Yes by the beginning of April we should be getting emails back from the graduate school about our admission status.

Do you bring a copy of your resume with you or pen and paper to write answers to questions?

No there is no need for a copy of your resume since that was part of your application, so they already have that. && no need to bring anything else, just answer there questions verbally.

Hey there , I was hoping you could give me a little more detail when you say easy questions? I’m going to be interviewing at Harber branch so I’m not completion lol .

Nicolern1988, I also have an interview with Harbor Branch on Friday. I am super nervous and have been going over things I would say if they asked me certain questions. I just hope I do not forget it all when I sit down with the interviewers. Good luck

They asked questions like: 1) which campus are you interested in if you get accepted into the program 2) what does a nurse practitioner do 3) why did you chose FAU 4) Why should we choose you over other candidates 5) how do you deal with stressful situation . That's all I can remember it was only 7 questions. I did not feel good about my interview so I hope this will help you do better than i did . I did mine at Boca Campus so you might have different questions not sure if they ask the same questions in every campus.
