Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has up to date info on the fastest (can be finished in 9 months or under), under 10-15k tuition, multiple start dates, online RN-BSN? So far, I have researched only 2 and that's Chamberlain and TexasTech. However, those were from posts years ago. I'm just wondering if anyone is up to date with other RN-BSN's?
State does not matter as long as the tuition is under 10-15k, but CA, TX, or even AZ is preferable. I have to rule out for-profit and WGU.
I'm attending Nightingale College's online RN-to-BSN Program. The program got accredited in 2017 and has a $375/semester credit. I had all my GE's done from another degree and finished in 8 months (2 semesters). It cost me 9k for the program. They don't have clinicals but do have a capstone (but it was amazing for my career). I would highly recommend you check it out: RN-to-BSN Bridge Program - Nightingale College. I've loved the program, the capstone project that focuses on improving healthcare for my employer. My project dramatically lowered the infection rate in my unit and has put me on the fast track to become the next DON.
I wish you the best, a BSN is worth it!
Hey all,
Digging up an old thread instead of starting a new one. Life got in the way and I stalled on my continued education. I'm ready to go back and I'm looking at completing my RN-BSN as quickly as possible. Before everyone says, "Quickly isn't a good thought process," I've been an RN for many years. I am just trying to fulfill a requirement, finish the few classes needed, and move on to my MSN as quickly as possible. I'm sure the classes will be interesting and I will learn a lot, I would just simply like to burn through them quickly so I can move on with my educational goals.
What schools would you people recommend? Where did you go? Any issues with accreditation or transferring credits to another program? At this point, a military discount would be nice, but cost is at the bottom of my list. 100% online is a must. Going at my own pace would be good, but I'm open to any curriculum, the least amount of online classroom interaction/discussions would be good, and dear god don't recommend a program that requires a ton of papers. Again, I get certain things need to be done, but it doesn't have to be so labor intensive. I am a very good student, I do my own research on things I don't understand, and I work very hard (independently) to learn everything I can about a subject before moving on. I will manage that part on my own.
If you're still reading this and have some ideas or experiences you can share, that would just about make my day! Thanks in advance!
Not sure of any RN-BSN programs that don't require a lot of papers, maybe others know of some? Capella Flexpath was all papers/power points. NO discussion boards. I finished in 11 months and paid $10,000. And I was accepted into a MSN program without a problem.

I know this is an older thread Pixie, but I loved your "Project management triangle" advice!
