What Did You Get For Nurses Week?
I graduated from Nightingale College's RN-to-BSN program last summer and the program manager sent me the most touching personal note, thanking me for my contribution to the field of nursing. I love being a nurse and our community is unlike any other. Happy nurses week to all my nursing friends!

Did anyone ever complete their RN-BSN through Kaplan University?
I was considering Kaplan, WGU, and Nightingale College. Nightingale's tuition is also at $375/credit hour. I selected NC because they were fully accredited and their capstone project has helped so many nurses stand out at their workplace. Since graduating I'm being considered for the DON role and my administrator told me it was because of Nightingale's project that got me this opportunity. I did not need GEs so I finished in 2 semesters (8mo). I had a friend that went to Kaplan and it was ok, but I think she wished she would have gone to Nightingale with me.

Fastest & Easiest RN-BSN program online?
I had serious doubts about being able to finish an RN-to-BSN program. I'm working full-time and have a baby. I started to look for easy online RN-to-BSN Programs and had a mentor of mine recommend Nightingale College. They partner with rural hospitals and help them build their own nursing staff. The RN-to-BSN program is all online and fully accredited and cost $375/semester credit. I didn't need to take any additional GEs, so I completed their program in 8 months. It cost me around 9k for the program. They have a capstone project that is amazing and I would highly recommend checking out the BSN program: RN-to-BSN Bridge Program - Nightingale College

Has anyone done the WGU online RN to BSN program?
I had a similar experience to luckystudentnurse above. I was all set to start the RN-BSN program in Utah and they wanted the tuition up front. I had serious doubts about being able to finish the desired classes on time, not knowing their structure. I started to look for other RN-to-BSN Programs in Utah and found Nightingale. Their online RN-to-BSN program is accredited and cost $375/semester credit. I didn't need to take any additional GEs (thanks WGU for never accepting me!), so I completed their program in 8 months. It cost me around 9k for the program. I know several nurses that went to WGU and it is a good school, but I'm glad I found Nightingale College. Their BSN capstone project helped me standout and I'm currently being considered for the DON position!!!

Fastest (<9 mo), multiple start dates, under 10-15K, online RN-BSN?
I'm attending Nightingale College's online RN-to-BSN Program. The program got accredited in 2017 and has a $375/semester credit. I had all my GE's done from another degree and finished in 8 months (2 semesters). It cost me 9k for the program. They don't have clinicals but do have a capstone (but it was amazing for my career). I would highly recommend you check it out: RN-to-BSN Bridge Program - Nightingale College. I've loved the program, the capstone project that focuses on improving healthcare for my employer. My project dramatically lowered the infection rate in my unit and has put me on the fast track to become the next DON. I wish you the best, a BSN is worth it!

Is nursing a good career?
I'm a recent RN grad from Nightingale College and I love being a nurse. It is challenging and often times long hours, but I feel like this is my calling in life. I have a great mentor at work that has really shown me the ropes and helped me get promoted and I have to say caring for other people is something awesome. You see people at their most vulnerable moments in life, and these are life changing moments for everyone involved. I find that being a competent and compassionate nurse in those to your clients is a big deal. I recommend doing some shadowing in many different areas (long-term, acute, peds, and phys). See which one gives you energy and you wont spend a day thinking how long the hours are. Good LUCK!
