I know me too! Since they called me before they left for Christmas break last year so hoping to hear around the same time this year. If not, it will just make me even more anxious. However, they might just being doing it differently. I heard that if you're a qualified applicant you will at least get an interview. Such as you have met or will meet the prereqs, have a decent GPA, wrote a pretty good statement and resume, ... you should at least get an interview!! (that is from what I have heard). The interview is probably where they begin to weed people out!!

I called yesterday and they have just started getting back into the swing of tthings. It appears that if your app is sent for committee review you at least have a shot at an interview which is the status mine was when I last checked. So hopefully everyone has that as well. I applied to Western's MSN-E program and my application was sent for committee review as well... The counselor said that around 600 applied and they plan to interview between 200-300. I didn't realize that they interviewed that many people! Has anyone been invited to interview yet?

I'm currently in WesternU's MSN-E program, started in fall 2010. We're now in our 2nd semester! I remember how nerveracking it was waiting to hear if I got an interview or not so I just so happened to google westernu msn-e interviews to see when they were this year and came upon this page...I guess you guys aren't sure when they are either. Last year, interviews started in mid-January and I found out I was in towards mid-February I believe. Around 400 people applied and 200 were granted interviews, and only 54 got in for my class. I wish you all the best of luck and maybe will be seeing some of you around campus (if we have class that day) during your interviews!!

I found out today that they are going to interview at the end of February! What was the interview process like? If you don't mind me asking what were your stats? What do you think of the program so far? Likes? Dislikes? Are you guaranteed the track that you chose? Also wondering what past students think of the online past of the program?

where does it say your status? does it actually say that your application is "sent for comittee review?" or does i say that your application is complete and ready to process?

Hello - I called and asked when interviews would be conducted. They verbally told me that my application has been sent for review. My application says complete and ready to process.

ilnurse15 - Did you hear back from Samuel Merritt? I was thinking about appying there if I don't get into Western this year!

thanks for the clarification rhardey. mine says complete and ready to process also but i was looking for "sent for committee review" this whole time and was starting to get worried! :)

thanks for the info mxpower. was it an email telling you that you got an interview or was it just a reply back to a previous email you sent them?
