Fall 2016 Wake Tech Applicants

Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to this site, just new to actually joining and posting my own story since I myself am finally able to began the application process of applying to Wake Tech next Fall. Anyone else out there applying?

Hey Jpeters247 do they give you your alternate status at sign in? Or do they make you wait until the end?

I hope I am closer than alternate 27...and that I find out before the morning classes start lol I think I'd panic! He probably didn't have the books or scrubs he needed that first day lol

Hey Bebe, you're asking the wrong one about the status, etc. I'm thinking that question is for Aperegy. I apply for Spring.

With that being said, has everyone filled out for financial aide yet since this fall we won't attend but rather the spring?

From what I read from the fall 2015 forum, they give you a folder at the beginning and if you're an alternate it either says Now Accepted or your alternate number. Last fall two people had the Now Accepted and everyone else got their number.

He didn't have anything and was shocked! And I'm just wearing something comfortable. It's going to be a long day of sitting!

I'm sorry you guys. I get all of you so mixed up lol but thanks. In my mind I'm just thinking we all huddle up to a alternate number board with all our names on it. I knew that would not happen though.

I hope they go ahead and tell you at the beginning...otherwise I think I'll be distracted all day. I might be distracted anyway if I have a large alternate number. I will probably post on here right when I find out haha

When you sign in they give you a folder and the first page in there is a breakdown of all your points with your alternate number on the top right corner! The folder has all the papers that they talk about during the orientation with info on books, the schedule for the day, physical forms etc. it's very organized! You walk in the door and there are tables set up based on your last name. You just tell them your name and they hand you your folder. Then your free to do what you want untill orientation starts. Definitely get there a little early!

Has anyone heard/asked how many alternates they think may be accepted this Fall?

Also, as an alternate do they give you a class schedule in your folder? Or do you not find that out unless you get accepted?

Im pretty sure you get a schedule. Your folder is the same as everyone that got accepted.
