Hey Everyone,
I'm not new to this site, just new to actually joining and posting my own story since I myself am finally able to began the application process of applying to Wake Tech next Fall. Anyone else out there applying?
CN_2bRN919 I love the two instructors so far. We have twenty in the class, but she said half will fail out. Is that true? I love it!! I have been taking these pre-reqs for three years. It's nice to finally get to something that pertains to nursing. I'm super excited. I just want to do great!! How were the tests?
The tests weren't bad at all as long as you study. Also stay on top of your requirements for the course like shot records, attendance, etc. By clinical we only had 7 people left in our class. Most either didn't have the class average they needed to move on, couldn't get their medical info in on time, or missed too many days of class. Our class started with 12-15 people and we dwindled down pretty quickly.
Hi everyone,
I've been reading threads from this website for a while and decided to join in. I am an alternate for fall 2016 with a 161 points. I'm excited to attend the information session tomorrow and get my alternate number. I noticed last night they added the nursing curriculum orientation to my blackboard. It is full of information about text books, scrubs, clinical sights, and information that we'll be tested on the first day of class (Aug 17th). Has anyone else noticed this? If not I would recommend checking it out. It seems to be what we'll use for the program because it mentioned more stuff being posted first day of class.

Just checked my folder from last time. You don't get a detailed schedule of NUR 111, you get the general ADN course requirements like the one you can find on the schools website. You'll get access to the Gateway site during orientation and on the website there is a ton more info, and on there is the tentative weekly schedule for the NUR 111 class.
