Fall 2016 Wake Tech Applicants

Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to this site, just new to actually joining and posting my own story since I myself am finally able to began the application process of applying to Wake Tech next Fall. Anyone else out there applying?

Oh okay! Does anyone know what the points were for last fall... fall 2015? Just curious as to how much of a point difference there was between fall 2015 and spring 2016. I saw where between fall 2014 and spring 2015, there was a 25 point difference.

Last fall the points started at 198up. I know that one girl was alternate number 12 with 192 points got in as an alternate. Look back and read the wake tech ADN fall 2015 board. I'm only 6 points shy, so I hope it works out the same.

I just added mine up and believe they're 156, just use the point system to figure yours out! I hope more people turn down their spots before the 15th!

Lindycelina what were your grades? We can help you figure out your points! Each class gives you a certain number of points for each letter grade.

Just a general question as I've never taken summer classes at Wake Tech. Does the school offer two summer sessions or just one? Has anyone taken summer classes before? And summer classes will count toward a spring application I'm pretty sure...?

Lindycelina, you probably could add the points from any classes you've taken since last spring which is probably the easiest way for you to get an idea as to how many points you had. Of course the TEAS is different so you'll have to take that into account when you do the math. For example, if the 131 included 50 TEAS points and you got an 80 on the TEAS, then you'll want to subtract 38 from the 131 leaving 12 points for the new TEAS. Since 12 is the amount of points you would recieve on the new scale with an 80. Sorry if that's confusing... of course once that's done, you'll want to add in any extra points from classes you've taken since the last time you applied.
