Fall 2016 Wake Tech Applicants

Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to this site, just new to actually joining and posting my own story since I myself am finally able to began the application process of applying to Wake Tech next Fall. Anyone else out there applying?

Well I only had 156, so I'm sure my letter either says no or alternate. So that sucks. I figured that would be the case í ½í¸ž

I believe alternates started at 140

So that would make me an alternate at least I have another school.

I didn't get in but I knew it would be a long shot when they changed the points system for the teas. I'm banking on the other school I applied to but won't hear for another 3 weeks

Wow, that's higher than I was thinking it would be! APeregoy, I am sure you're probably at the top of the alternate list so I will continue to cross my fingers!! Leahearman14, do you think you'll submit another application in the spring? Not sure if you're currently taking any courses.

I also applied to Vance Granville because it's close to my house. I think I'm going to be a lot more competitive there. If I don't get in, then yes I'll apply for spring. I'm taking A&P2 now so Id be able to add those points and retake the teas. I took the teas when it was 71% equals 50 pts so that's the only other thing I could do to increase points

I don't know where you live but you can still apply to Vance Granville til end of March. It's in henderson, nc

Leahearman14, depending on how close you were in points, you could probably just make an A or a B in anatomy, skip retaking the TEAS, and still get in this spring. Fingers crossed for you!
