Fall 2016 Wake Tech Applicants

I'm not sure what the minimum score is. I would probably retake it if you were that close...it will give you at least 6 extra points and you could end up doing even better and get an extra 12 or 20 points. It does suck having to do it again though...I hate sitting through those tests!

Ugh. Tell me about it. My derriere was getting numb, lol. I'd rather stand, not used to sitting down for a long time. Im leaning into retaking it. You're right, I just need to study the math a bit more (thats my weakness), then retake it. Its not like I'll get some deduction with points if I do worse. :banghead: Im getting a surgery after this sem and I don't know how my mood is going to be affected. Hopefully I'll bounce back quick.

Has anyone heard anything either from Beth or from the information session about fall 2016 admissions?mlike what were the point ranges for accepted students & for alternates?

The only thing I've heard is someone said that they think for spring it will be 150-160 for acceptance, and that she was sending out letters for fall last friday

The number changes every year. I think I only have 156 points, so I'm not too sure about my chances. I'm dying for the acceptance letters! Nothing in the mail today, so I don't think they were mailed Friday. I haven't heard of anyone else receiving one either.

How many did they accept last fall or this spring? Beth told me Friday she was sending them out this week. Idk what day though. I'm dying for them as well but I don't want it if it's a denied letter lol.

I'm not totally sure...I know they say the number changes each semester. I think it's usually safe to say they have about 200 applicants and 80 seats. But it could be way different this semester.

Hi, I am actually new to this website, I have been lurking in the background just reading comments and advice. I just thought I would let you all know that I called Waketech campus today and was informed that they had sent out the letters to main campus today. They said we should be receiving our letter by the end of the week or beginning of next week. That totally sucks for me because I wont be back in the country on April 4 2016...

Mrs. Watkins did tell me that the orientation for accepted students & alternates is April 15th. Idk what time though.
