Fall 2016 Wake Tech Applicants

Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to this site, just new to actually joining and posting my own story since I myself am finally able to began the application process of applying to Wake Tech next Fall. Anyone else out there applying?

No letter from Wake Tech yet! :cry: But I did get accepted to Sampson CC ADN program today! Anyone else apply there? Its not my first choice but at least I have a backup now!

I have a friend that graduated from there and she says it was an amazing program at Sampson and that they really care about your success!! Congrats!!!

Really?! That's so good to hear! I haven't found a single person that knows anything about the program. I'm dying to find some info on it!

I was going to apply there, but I ended up picking two different ones. My friend graduated in 2014 I think and she swears it's the best program out there. They also had a 100% first time pass rate on the NCLEX she said the year she graduated.

Oh wow that's awesome! Well, definitely sounds like a decent back up if my first choice falls through. Where else did you apply? I also applied to Robeson, Bladen, Richmond, and obviously Wake Tech! Hopefully we hear from WT soon í ½í¸

I only applied to Wake and FTCC. I think you hear bad things about every program, but I think it all comes down to you and whether you want this and work for it. No program will make you a nurse, you have to do it. I'm worried I'm going to have to go with FTCC just because of the schedule. It looks like Wake has you there for 5 days a week like half days and that ruins my schedule for work and family, but we'll see.

Yeah it definitely has the longest weekly schedule of all the programs I've applied too. And that's so true, it's really what you make of it. I've heard some terrible things about the ADN program at FTCC which is where I'm currently a general student, but people pass the program every year and it's accredited so it can't be that bad.

I'm at FTCC right now too! I've heard horrible things, but I'm going to be a great nurse and no program is going to make or break me. It will all work out!

Oh nice! I'm actually here in class now haha. But yeah that's how I feel. I'm just going to make the most of any program I go too.

Got my acceptance today in the mail but am declining of course since I'm going to UNCs program. Good luck to everyone!!
