Hello Jackilh1, sorry you got rejected at desales. What other schools have you received interviews from that you thought you had no chance at? If you don't mind me asking, what made/makes you think you had no chance at those schools? Thanks, I look forward to your reply.

@adairfletch thank you so much. I applied for fall 2016 as well as was rejected due to low GPA. Nora also stated that while my personal statements were good, they weren't the best. I have below a 3.0 GPA & I was told that starting with the fall 2016, the GRE scores will no longer be a requirement for anyone. I know in the past it wasn't a requirement if you had at least a 3.0. But now when I talk to Nora about possibly re-applying she's making it seem as the decision would be no different from the last. I'm wondering if I was to re-work my personal statements, would that give me an advantage? Plus, I work at Duke Universiy hospital. Idk what else to do. Should I re-apply or should I give up & let it go? Is your friend that got rejected re-applying? Do you know of how many people got accepted into fall?

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone knew if applying to spring would be easier to get in than the fall?

Mrs. Watkins did tell me that the orientation for accepted students & alternates is April 15th. Idk what time though.

How many did they accept last fall or this spring? Beth told me Friday she was sending them out this week. Idk what day though. I'm dying for them as well but I don't want it if it's a denied letter lol.

Hello everyone, I want to say congrats to everyone that was accepted to duson for the fall 2016 cohort. While I am excited for y'all, I wish I was excited for myself, unfortunately I did not get in. I am a bit confused as to why I wasn't accepted because I felt I had strong recommendations & a strong personal statement, but maybe that was not enough. Not to mention I work for Duke Universiy hospital in Durham as a CNA & I thought being already affiliate that would increase my chances. Well, it didn't, bummer. This was the only absn program I applied to & now I'm like I'm thinking about the possibility of reapplying for spring 2017, but at the same time I don't want to go through the whole process & get denied admissions, again. That would hurt. That would hurt bad. So I was wondering, for those that got admitted, would y'all be willing to take a look at my personal statement & see where I messed up & be willing to offer any tips & advice as to how I can reconstruct my personal statement so if I do reapply I will have a better chance at getting in?
