  1. Hi all! Do we have a facebook group for the cohort yet?! :D this Monday was the last day to SIR, so everyone should be in!! just want to ask if anyone has an academic hold on Duke Hub still? (I do! can't figure out what it is!)
  2. I think I'm going to go with UCLA as well! I am local-ish, going to commute from NoHo which is just a 30 min drive! I don't know how much you're willing to spend, but if you're interested, I love my apartment, it's brand new haha! Alexan in NoHo.
  3. accepted! for some reason I thought they're still accepting applications all the way to 3/1 so I didn't know it'll come out so soon! I'm excited :)
  4. @Knatori what! I'd love to live in NY once in my lifetime. It's just expensive.. I'm waitlisted for Duke as well! But I already committed to live in the Bay Area for a year or so, so I'll probably work first and then apply again next cycle :) Maybe I'll then apply to SMU so I can just live in the Bay Area haha. Good luck to you!!!
  5. @Knatori No I didn't! But it's okay, maybe it's just not meant to be! Did you get into other schools or just waiting for Duke? And yea I visited SMU a couple times for their nursing program. It is a great program but it does have too many prereqs haha!
  6. for those of you who are waitlisted, do you have to call/email? Or did they call you to inform you about your status?
  7. Gosh I'm traveling abroad, I won't be able to make calls or receive calls without spending a fortune! Hopefully I get an email whether it's an acceptance or waitlist.... does anyone know that they send out all emails on the same day? NYU dragged it out over the course of 2 months, it was so painful.
  8. Yea! I applied to University of Rochester and NYU so far. I think that's all the ABSN programs I'm applying to.
  9. Thanks @perspicace ! I did call them about the transcript! My schools is like ivy league status but not an ivy league. While professors tend to give out tons of A's in ivy league to help their students get ahead in their future endeavor, here professors have to give out certain numbers of B, C, D... so even if I tried my best and did well, I could still end up with a GPA not as stellar as someone from other schools :/ anyway, that might be a generalization too, but I was just wondering if the admission will account for the ranking/difficulty level of undergrad
  10. Ah no wonder, haven't heard back, I sent it the hour before priority deadline (3/1)
  11. same! my classmate got hers, i'm still waiting for mine as well
  12. Oh my goodness what does that even mean....there was clearly an early decision deadline and a regular deadline! (3/1 and 4/1 if I'm correct?) How long is that gonna take for us to find out?! Thanks for the update though!
  13. "Admissions decisions for Regular Decision candidates will be released via email on March 31 after 5pm. Decisions will not be released over the phone until April 4th. " From the website.. maybe they mean regular undergrad (freshman) applicants. They didn't mention anything about ABSN then.
  14. Is it the official date? I can't find that on their school website! Only thing I saw was on Albert, says 3/31 5pm But I haven't heard anything yet! So nervous!
  15. Okay guys, I think we're supposed to hear back today or tomorrow according to Albert?! Anyone? Anything?
