hi there, UCLA does not require work experience but obviously, it will be beneficial for you if you have experience. Also, a low GPA shouldn't be a reason for you to discourage from applying. They will ask you to submit your GPA, Statement of Purpose, Personal Statement, Resume, and 3 letters of Recommendation. They will make a decision based on the overall information you submitted. I applied for the Adult /Gerontology NP Program. I know cal state programs are cheaper than UC. Best of luck to you whichever you decide to go.
