Fall 2011 UT Houston Health Sciences hopefuls

I am a ut houston hopeful applying for the pacesetter and traditional programs for fall 2011! I will be done with my pre-req's: engl 1302 and hist 1302 this spring 2011. I plan on taking the hesi the beginning of December since the deadline for ut-houston has been changed to Jan 15. 2011. I wish everybody good luck as were getting down to the wire!!1 Anyone else out there?

I did get a rejection letter (which I happen to still have because I keep everything UT sends me...) and it was dated Monday, November 8, 2010 and was postmarked on Nov. 9th.

I just remembered. I got it on the 13th because that same day I was driving over to my parents, somebody hit my car and I had an asthma attack from the chemicals that came out of the air bag so I ended up in the ER for the rest of the afternoon.

It was a crappy day....

Hi all, need your opinions. I got accepted to both PVAMU and UTHSC Nursing. Now, I am really confused which one to pick. I have heard both are good nursing schools. My friends are going to PVAMU, I am the only one got accepted at UT. I am really ...:confused:.

I was not getting any acceptance letter since last couple of years. But now I am getting acceptance from every where I have applied as a backup. Actually,this would be my fourth acceptance letter. 4 more are on their way. Take this strategy as a useful tip for those who got denied at this time.

Hey, I tried looking for the group on facebook and was unable to find it. I am so happy to share that I got a provisional acceptance to UTHSC Houston for the Fall 2011 Program :) YAY! I will be in school with most of the people on here! This is a great way to start getting to know people we will have in our classes until we graduate!

Hey nurseguy86, do you have facebook? If you do, join the group we started; just search for "UTHSC SON DECEMBER 2012" and request to join. We've posted all sorts of information about holds, housing, uniforms etc. there. It's definitely not too early to start turning in information to take care of holds; I've already turned in my CPR certification and residency form, and both holds have been removed from my UTLINK.

Oh, and I got a 2nd transcript evaluation too, but I already knew that it was coming because someone in our facebook group posted about it!
