Hey do you guys think it's fine if the only thing not updated on my UTlink is the TSI? I left a million voice mails and sent them all emails letting them know that my TSI is met on my transcript. I'm getting super worried now.

Thanks for the info, Darkmeltdown! Ktay, if you've already sent them your proof of TSI exemption, I think you're probably okay...you've done your part, they just need to enter it in.

The only proof I sent was my transcript. The transcript states that I have met the TSI requirements though. Not to mention the fact that the classes I've taken required college level testing prior to enrollment. Did you guys send separate proof of the TSI requirements being met, or just transcripts? I've been really bummed thinking that I forgot something and now it's too late. I hate the anxiety this waiting game is causing me to have.

Yep, the transcripts are your proof. That's all I sent in, and at first UTLink showed that they have my transcripts, but it didn't show proof of degree or proof of TSI...I just let them know and both of those things got fixed. I think it's just taking longer for you because it's right around deadline time, so they must be flooded---but if you sent the transcript in, you should be okay.

I was reading past threads and I was wondering, has anyone gotten a transcript evaluation in the mail? I haven't...

I didn't get one either. What I understand from some of the old threads is that the school only sends the evaluation reports out to people with incomplete applications.

also....obviously i've been stalking these threads but i saw people starting getting interview letters and emails sept 3rd when their deadline was sept 1 for the spring! so maybe they will start sending them this week! but the 15th was saturday and yesterday was a holiday so we probably wont get them as fast...

I talked to the registrar today because I'm still paranoid about my TSI status on UTlink and she said that it's fine for it to say it isn't received and that when they start looking over transcripts it will be adjusted. I don't know if that means they just haven't looked over the hundreds of transcripts they received at the last min. like mine or if that referred to all the transcripts in general. Anyhow it didn't seem like the process was moving very quickly.

Heram, I wonder if they got responses so soon because there's a shorter timeframe for spring applicants? I mean, we're still 8 months out from actually starting...Anyway, I will be obsessively checking everything, including allnurses---so heram, you're not the only one "stalking," I'm probably on here at least 10x/day!

I wish some of the registrar would randomly decide to be overachievers and finish all of the transcripts--like tomorrow, then start the interview letters. I hate waiting!

Hi everyone! Finally found this thread! I've been perusing the TX nursing forums for quite a while searching for the Fall 2011 UTHSC hopefuls thread. It seems we are all playing the waiting game now; the anxiety is building isn't it? :lol2:

I would like to add that I am taking a Pathophysiology course at Lonestar and on one of the student introductions on our blackboard, a fellow classmate mentions that she had applied to UTHSC and already has an appointment for an interview scheduled on the 10th. It's now the 21st and I was wondering if anyone else had received an interview? I haven't and I really am hoping for that letter in the mail/email.

no way! no i haven't gotten anything yet...that was so fast! hopefully they start sending more soon. what day did that person post they had gotten an interview, like did they post it yesterday? on some of the past threads it was saying it might depend on how fast you had all your application stuff in...my hesi scores didnt upload until a couple of days before the deadline and i still have prerequisites i need to take so maybe they still need to evaluate my transcript. no to make excuses...good luck everyone!!
