Fall 2011 UT Houston Health Sciences hopefuls

I am a ut houston hopeful applying for the pacesetter and traditional programs for fall 2011! I will be done with my pre-req's: engl 1302 and hist 1302 this spring 2011. I plan on taking the hesi the beginning of December since the deadline for ut-houston has been changed to Jan 15. 2011. I wish everybody good luck as were getting down to the wire!!1 Anyone else out there?

Thank you!!! I am ecstatic!! :yeah:I thought I would never hear good news...if your holds change I pretty positive you got in! The lady I just talked to told me I was admitted today and my holds just changed today. My status on UTlink hasn't changed yet either.

not only was my TSI fixed finally, but she told me that I was accepted today!! I got in!!!

Awesome! It's about time they resolved the TSI saga :) Congrats (on both counts)!

no worries yall! today was literally the first day anyone found out anything...there is so much time left! im sure all the admissions people are so busy and as the previous threads have show this all happens over a few weeks....good luck to everyone!

I have a question... What do you guys mean by "YOUR HOLDS HAVE CHANGED"?? Did you have holds before, if so what were they? What are they now? Do you think that this means admission into the program? I looked at my holds and I have an immunization and CPR hold...does everyone else have that too?

i got my acceptance today too!!!!! :D i saw my holds status change yesterday, but i hadn't actually checked utlink for a while, so i'm not sure how long it actually was until the holds changed to acceptance.

Those are the holds that everyone starts out with. When your holds change, you'll have 3 more- Criminal Background Check, Admission Documents, and Residency Form Hold.

blynn15, I didn't take it twice, but I read that they only look at the scores from the latest attempt. Also, I think I submitted my app in late nov/early dec, but my application wasn't complete until 2 or 3 days before the application deadline.

Hey! I took my HESI twice. I failed the A&P part the first time and got an overall score of 88 the second time. I submitted my application and transcript officially January 8th. I took my HESI the second time January 13th.haha Kind of last minute.

I got accepted today :clpty:
