Hi all!
Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
Thanks! Yeah I thought about UTMB, but it's an hour and a half one way for me. Not familiar with UTA. I'll have to look into the specifics of that one.
UTMB is over an hour drive for me, but I'm willing to apply anywhere within a 2 hours drive. The commute would suck big time, but I can tough it out for 15 months. I'm also fortunate that I have a very supportive wife and my kids understand my inconveniences with going back to school is temporary.
An application will say "incomplete" if you are still completing your last few prerequisites or if they have no received your hesi yet. For example, I have everything submitted but my to-do list still says "official transcripts" even though I sent it but still in the process of completing them!

You rocked the HESI...I have a 91 overall, but a 76 in A&P so I'm going to squeeze in a retake before the deadline. I'm also waiting to here from UTMB and UTA.
