Hi all!
Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
That's what I did. I went through every question so many times that I remembered them all and it helped me a lot on my test!
Did you go into depth in your a&p book? I am down to th last few days before exam and haven't even come close to what I wanted to accomplish. Were the A&P questions broad over each system or very specific?
Also, what did you use for the vocab and Hannah section? Thank you for help--I truly appreciate it. It's been 5 years since I took a&p, so I am freaking!
The only things I reviewed about A&P are what were in my flashcards and on the PocketPrep app. The questions weren't very in depth, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I used the PocketPrep app for the vocabulary and grammar also and studied/made flashcards for those too. I'm sure you'll do great! :)
I had that two of those on my to-do list - for both UofH and HCC - and had to call to let them know I was no longer taking classes at UofH - only HCC - so they would remove that one from my list. But if you have classes still in progress on your transcript, it will stay on your to-do list until you send a transcript with only completed courses. Just make sure that the transcripts on that list are from colleges that you're currently enrolled in.

The pocket prep app helped me too! Plus the Elsevier book helped to direct my studying. I used Quizlet for vocab and a quick way to make flashcards to study what I missed on any practice quizzes.
