  1. Hello! I got my acceptance Thursday at 433 as well. 93 on HESI Made high As on every section and 88 on reading comprehension. 4.0 nursing GPA 3.93 overall GPA For anyone that applied to Pacesetter Texas A&M program, I also got my acceptance letter at 4AM Thursday! Graduated from Texas State University in May 2015. I'm moving from Waco to Houston and am super excited to meet everyone. Just joined the Facebook group--woo! To everyone still waiting, the time will come! Just be patient, stay positive, and don't give up. :)
  2. I got denial email today around 530pm. Previous Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, 3.89 Overall GPA, 4.0 Science GPA, 93 overall on Hesi 94 on all subjects and 88 on Reading. Congrats to all who have been accepted!
  3. Thanks for the information. Are you in the program currently is that how you know this information?
  4. Awesome, thanks! Are you 100% about this information? I have read thoroughly online and attended information session and never really got the full understanding since the information doesn't really specify that. I took it as long as you have 40/60, you're good to go. I hate not being 100% positive.
  5. Awesome thanks! Are you 100% on this information? I attended an information session and have read the online information thoroughly and haven't seen that stated anywhere. So, it really does confuse me. Thanks!!!
  6. Hello, Quick question-- On the website it says 40 of the 60 hours must be completed and 8 of them must be the science classes when applying. I have read so many different things on this website and it has confused me. Do you have to have ALL 60 prereqs completed to be accepted? The way I understand it on the website is 40/60 hours must be completed & 8 must be sciences they require. If anyone knows an exact answer to this question, I'd greatly appreciate the feedback.
  7. Does anyone know if they require ALL of the sciences they list or is it just 8 hours of a&p, Chem, micro--whatever 8 hours you took? The wording is a little misleading on the website. Just wanted to double check. Thanks!
  8. you did great on the HESI! Any tips?! Especially for the a&p / vocab section! I haven't ever seen anyone score 100 on a&p, so congrats!!! Any tips that you remember will be greatly appreciated.
  9. ahhh!! Thanks for the heads up--is there anything else for last minute that you would recommend to go over for a&p? That makes me so nervous about "which molecule is being inhibited" part you mentioned bc I have no idea where to look for that?!? Yikes! (Most nervous about the conversions in math, a&p, and vocab--not sure what to expect on vocab) anymore tips would be greatly appreciated!! Congrats
  10. Would you mind I asked you a few quick questions--I take my test Thursday. Do you remember much about Urinary system, Reproductive system, Cardiovascular system, or endocrine system on test? (You don't have to go into specifics just wanted a general idea) Also, what about the muscular system? For vocab--was the HAER book good enough? Or was it pretty easy to pick which word fit correctly? how was the grammar and reading portion for you?! thanks in advance!
  11. do you have any tips for a&p and vocab?! Greatly appreciate it!!! (I know your post is from a while back--but it popped up when I searched HESI help. Thank you :)
  12. What was so hard about it? How long did our prepare/how did you prepare? I don't know how to message on this site, but if you want to direct message me you can. I'm curious how the a&p and vocabulary sections were to you? Thanks in advance. You will do better if you decide to take it a second time--just have faith!!
  13. okay, one more question--I hate to annoy you! Were the sections timed, or was it just 4 hours total you pick & choose your sections?
  14. you have great scores! For vocab, was there any words that were similar to the pocket prep app? And when you say it asked about muscles/bones can you give an example?! Also, what do you mine by know where the hormones come from? (Knowing which gland?) thanks in advance and congrats on your scores!!!
  15. What type of medical terminology stuff did you review? I am extremely nervous about a&p/vocab section and didn't know if you could help anymore?!? Thank you!!!
