Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
Wait mine says incomplete. Is it supposed to be "pending"?
I meant to type incomplete. I dont know where I got pending from. And yes, we are still considered. The green circle only means that you do not have any classes still in progress on your transcript.

I really don't think we'll hear anything until late May or June 1st. I finally talked to someone about my stat class and she mentioned "June 1st" to me without even being prompted.
Blerrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

I have a feeling that the reason she mentioned June 1st hastily the way she did was because that is the date the school is basically required to give out.
You have to imagine they probably get hundreds of phone calls and emails asking the exact same thing: "When will we hear if we are accepted or not?" Its probably standard operating procedure for them to have a go-to date to dish out that is far enough away to be safe.
For this past Summer app period, that June 1st date was March 15th, but acceptances started February 24th.

Seriously. The summer applications were so random. They kept telling people April and it popped out February 24th. I was at the gym when it happened. Only a month after applications closed so maybe just maybe it'll come this month ?
Wait to send it until your final grade for your Intro to Philosophy class is inputted at your institution. Submitting it beforehand won't be of much use. I am currently enrolled in Texas Government at Lone Star & am waiting til my final grade is up. Just send it to the same address you submitted your original transcripts to. I worked in the Registrar's Office at Baylor and that's what we used to tell people. :)

This isnt entirely true. Summer registration this year had a deadline of January 15 amd first acceptances went out February 24th, so pretty much one month and one week. They do almost always roll out on a Friday though so I would not be surprised to see them hit April 21st or 28th...somewhere around there. May take longer because of the larger applicant pool compared to Summer, but I dont see them waiting THAT long for the first wave. Waitlists and denials notwithstanding.
I'm guessing they aren't sending the acceptance letters today :'(

If you are wanting them to consider your philosophy grade into your application GPA, then you will need to wait until your grade has posted to your transcript. I did this same thing and they allowed me to update my transcript after the March 15th deadline; I believe it was the last few days of March it was sent.
