Fall 2020 MANE applications

Wanted to get a thread started on applicants for MANE Fall 2020 applicants. I’m applying to Inver Hills and Century with a composite score of 11.53. A little worried it won’t be enough to get in this time around, but I’ve already taken the TEAS 3 times and don’t want to take it again! Good luck everyone!

WOW!, nice score! And CONGRATS!

I am really considering Inver just because of how organized they have been and up to date with this whole process.

It means I need to take Microbiology in the Summer, but I think it would be worth it.

The only reason I consider Century is because I wouldn't have the pressure of taking Microbiology this Summer.

My wife checked the mail yesterday and nothing was there for me. Hopefully we get something today!

If you take Micro at Century, I highly recommend Jessica Bell. I am taking her Micro hybrid course right now and she's great.

I got my letter from Century yesterday and got accepted with a score of 12.4 (4.0 GPA, 84% TEAS). Technically it's a conditional acceptance because I still need to finish A&P 1 this semester but other than that I am already registered.

Just got my mail and was waitlisted at Century. They don’t give you a number like Inver Hills did, so not sure where I’m at.

I'm so bummed. My application was considered incomplete because I had transcripts from the University of Minnesota. I had never ever taken a class from the u of m. I took a class in highschool 10 years ago through the U of M that was a college credit prep class. I've spoken to my counselor at century multiple times and he made sure I was under the impression that I didn't need to send those transcripts in. I'm upset to hear that my application was denied because of the U of M. I never affiliated with the U of M ever. It's just sitting there in record saying that I attended when I never truly did. Ugh. I left the admissions office an email regarding a reconsideration hopefully everything works out.

How frustrating! Hopefully they can sort it all out for you! Maybe a lot of people will reconsider being a nurse after all this and they’ll be taking more people in. Hope it works out for you!

does anyone know if century ever gives you a number on the waitlist. Just said that I was put on the temporary waitlist. The temporary part is throwing me off. ?

Accepted at both NHCC (11.53) and Century (11.57?), am declining NHCC

Waitlisted at century with a 12.1, but at least I got into Inver! Which I don't understand Centurys rejection cause I thought I had a pretty decent composite score. Oh well!

That's so odd because some students were accepted at 11.57 and 11.8 composite scores at century.

Yeah IDK. I thought my essay was pretty good too. Maybe there was something wrong with my application?
