  1. I know of one person who attended Rasmussen. They said that their accreditation is kinda messed up. They did not go into detail but recommended going elsewhere. That being said they had two interviews with conditional job offers after passing NCLEX. Good luck!
  2. Yeah IDK. I thought my essay was pretty good too. Maybe there was something wrong with my application?
  3. Waitlisted at century with a 12.1, but at least I got into Inver! Which I don't understand Centurys rejection cause I thought I had a pretty decent composite score. Oh well!
  4. WOW!, nice score! And CONGRATS! I am really considering Inver just because of how organized they have been and up to date with this whole process. It means I need to take Microbiology in the Summer, but I think it would be worth it. The only reason I consider Century is because I wouldn't have the pressure of taking Microbiology this Summer. My wife checked the mail yesterday and nothing was there for me. Hopefully we get something today!
  5. Anyone get mail today from Century?
  6. I'm not exactly sure but for Inver I had all A's and one B with an 81 on my TEAS
  7. Just got an email from Inver saying I've gotten a conditional acceptance! Check your emails!
  8. Nothing yet. I'm mentally preparing that they won't be on time sending the letters out.
  9. Yes, it was a requirement this round.
  10. Oh man,I hope we don't have to wait that long!!!
  11. This wait is the worst. Already had Inver email me to confirm my birthday to match up my tease test date. Hopefully it goes smooth from here on out. I think I have a 12.1 at century and 11.85 if I'm doing my math right. It's March 16 when they send out the results, right?
  12. Anyone else find Century not as student friendly? I am new to Minnesota and started both around the same time and Inver Hills was just much more student friendly. Especially their orientation and availability of their adviser's. The online nursing application for Inver was great also. Century is just hit or miss with everything. Even trying to meet with adviser's they wouldn't let me even wait around to ask a question. I had to make an appointment. Wait a week and then when the day came I was in and out in 13 minutes. Had a bad experience today dropping off my application as well. Anyways...... I hope I get in to one, preferred century only because I'd have to take microbiology in the summer if I went to Inver. Both are equal distance to my house so it's a toss up. Anyone have any info on the programs? I've heard century is good but it has a lot of busy work. I have heard nothing about Inver besides that they were restructuring stuff with the programs. I hope my scores are good enough to get in!! I Work with paramedics who have decreases their hours and floated shifts, but they worked through the program. I am decreasing my hours at work and luckily my wife makes enough to balance it out. My trouble is having a kid. Idk how I'm gonna do it. Good luck to everyone!
  13. Just turn mine in. I have no experience with colleges here but as much as everyone loves Century I haven't enjoyed my prereq classes and their registration, orientation, and access to help is just sucky. I applied to both Inver and century and Inver just has just been easier on the admin side. So idk if that is foreshadowing. I've heard Inver has had structural problems in the allied health area so who knows. I applied. 81 on TEAS and for century all As and for Inver all As and a B. So we shall see! I don't know much about their nursing programs specifically though. If you have any info on them that would be great!
