Fall 2020 MANE applications

@mnblu I had the same experience with Anoka. Anoka was my first choice however when I applied last year they denied me saying my classes did not transfer over, however Century accepted them no problem. It was very frustrating because Anoka Ramsey is closer for commuting for me.

About accessing the acceptance contract, I was only able to sign the metro state contract for MANE and the Century link (tiny.url....) I was not able to open. I contacted the counselor at Century and she said if you come to a login page for Microsoft (which I did) you need to log in with your [email protected] student email address and your StarID password and the page should load for you. I tried this and the page was unable to load because I was locked out of my account having too many failed attempts to log in. I hope this helps! Congratulations on your acceptance!!

Just got an email from Star at Century and she said they are waiting to hear back from everyone who accepted their spot on the waitlist, then will send out an email telling us our number. We should be getting an email early next week with out numbers!

Hey, I’m also waitlisted at Century for this fall with an 11.6. Anyone heard anything yet about where they are on the list?

I’m not working currently so I’ve got all the time to refresh all day. I emailed Star this morning and haven’t heard back. Hopefully we’ll hear something Monday. Did you apply anywhere else?

“Unfortunately, there were a few students who sent their appeals to campus, and we are not on campus, so it took me some time to get everything where it needed to be, and I am still waiting to hear back on a few appeals. It should not be much longer, I apologize for the wait!”

So more waiting. ?

Just got this from Inver hills. ?

Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, we have modified how we are moving students off of the waitlist and onto the accepted list. The impacts of this global pandemic have impacted all aspects of our lives. However, our faculty and staff have worked diligently to continue to provide high quality nursing education to our students and I am impressed with the resilience of our student body as they continue to balance their responsibilities.

We will not offer any seats to students on our waitlist until after the completion of the Spring 2020 Semester. This decision has been made to ensure that any of our current students who may need to repeat their Spring semester due to impacts of COVID-19 have the opportunity to do so in fall 2020. I will not be able to update you on your spot for Fall 2020 until Friday, May 15, 2020. I apologize for having to delay your potential acceptance into the program for another month. However, I want to ensure that we meet the needs of our current student and I am hopeful that when you join us, we will meet your educational needs as well.

Hmmm that makes me wonder if that was a decision made across all the MANE programs or just Inver Hills. Here’s to more waiting
